Fairfield Inn & Suites Natchitoches

The hotel was clean but the housekeeping services were non existent. We stayed for four nights. Each morning we would leave to visit family. When we came back to the hotel, we had to empty our trash in the hall bins, go downstairs for shower gel, toilet tissue, towels and coffee supplies. This happened two nights and I asked to speak with the hotel manager. I was advised he was out of town so I asked to speak with the housekeeping manager…. They never called as requested . This told me that the sense of caring or lack there of, trickled down from the top. If I were the manager I would appreciate knowing. SMH ALSO Plug near the coffee maker was nonfunctional. Shower backed up with water when we took a shower. Small refrigerator was leaking water into the carpet…..

The manager and front desk staff (MyKeonna, Charity and Jeremy) were helpful and friendly. Ryan, the manager, went out of his way to help accommodate my son and I. The breakfast had a good selection of food. We were impressed with the attitude of this hotel!

This was our first night of a 17-day road trip where we stayed mostly in Marriott properties. We'd requested a mobiiity-accessible room because my spouse was still recovering from two hip surgeries and needed grab bars near the toilet. Apparently the only such room that was available was on the first floor (107), where I generally do not like to stay (too noisy) - but it was alright. The room overlooked an empty field, and the housekeeping staff (in a room across from ours) was very quiet in the morning. Staff member Jeremy S. W. went out of his way to help with a problem with the light in the bathroom. (BTW Marriott - please install more lights in your mobility accessible rooms - often folks with mobility issues also have vision issues, and low light does not help.) For the price, the hotel was fine for us in terms of facilities and location. We only had a muffin and coffee for breakfast, and they were fine. We appreciated having a refrigerator for our cooler items and a microwave to keep our coffee warm.

I reserved a room during the city's christmas festival. The price tripled to $429.02 for one night. Everything was sold out in this small town so I took it. Arrived pretty late got some sleep showered the next morning and checked out. Now I understand what incidential fee's are for but in this case, if there's nothing used other a towel, nothing is damaged or broken, why take on more charges. To tired to notice all the lady bugs in the windows and corner of the ceiling until the next morning. Do better if you're gonna charge nearly $450 a day. I want that extra charge removed.

Excellent Facility. We stopped there on our return from Florida to Colorado. Very well-maintained facility. Rooms was nice, clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and customer oriented. Nice continental breakfast. Wasy access to and from I 49. We like Fairfield's and this one did not disappoint as it is an excellent facility. You will enjoy your stay here.

Selected a suite in order to have a separate room to reading, visiting, watching TV. The couch was so stained and filthy my family was afraid to sit on it. There was mold in one corner of the shower. Staff were professional, polite and attentive.

An unexpected stop led to an overnight stay here. Nice hotel property with really nice people working there. Not fancy, but a clean bed with a hot shower was nice. Very accommodating to my needs. This property was right on the highway and made it easy to leave in and out as needed.

We normally don’t do hotels but we had a business stay in this really small town. We arrived during the morning to be greeted by an attendant that seemed to be a little pushy. But we ignored it!.. We where uncertain if this was the best hotel, we sat in our vehicle by the front door instead of giving us our space he came outside to ask if we wanted the room as if there was a line out the door and he actually waited for a response. We are contractors for NSU and while on site we received a call about moving out of the room to have the carpet cleaned… we where like what!!. The front desk clerk immediately got defensive when we began to question why we where not told this during check in…. When we checked out noticed that they also charge extra fees (Convention and Tourism Tax???).. and our receipt said “leisure”instead of “business “.. The front desk all could use a little customer service coaching every 6mnths to keep them in aware of their ability to interact with different ppl.
