Historic Star Lodge and Station Masters House Narrandera

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful, charming hotel! Tina shared her knowledge of the hotel and region and we ate at some lovely restaurants walking distance from the hotel (The Yard, Korthida Thai and the Red Door Cafe). We also saw koalas and plenty of birds on the wetlands walk. At the hotel we had a wonderful shower and the beds were very comfortable. Every little detail had been considered and we only wished we had been able to stay more days.

A grand historic gem, stunning features with attention to details. Tina met us with a warm smile and tour of this beauty. Tina has done a wonderful job restoring the building and making travellers feel at home. My bed, room 5 was incredibly comfortable and safe. We will come again. Thanks Tina!

Such an amazing building that has been so lovingly restored room by room. The young couple that greeted us could not have been more helpful. Offers a safe place for parking motorbikes and so handy to walk to shops and restaurants. Will stay again!

We arrived much later than we’d originally planned, but Angel, the proprietress, was friendly and helpful and made us welcome. After 10pm I.m not sure what the situation is with arrivals but we got there about 9.30 luckily and all was well. I had a small but cosy room ( Room 3) upstairs with shared bathroom amenities, my friends had a double room downstairs in the area that was apparently the former kitchen, it was beautifully done up with an en suite. The shared facilities were functional and clean, and downstairs there were kitchen facilities. We only stayed the night and left about 10 but I would have liked to have spent longer in this place. It’s beautifully restored and incredibly atmospheric. The morning light on the balcony is wonderful. This is a great find in Narrandera.
