This is a unique experience for those wishing to stay in a traditional tulou. The rooms were clean and simple, and the residents of the tulou friendly and welcoming. The shared toilet facilities are outside the building, and there is a bucket outside each room for use at night time. You can eat inside the tulou for dinner and lunch or there are a few other options in the Tianluokeng village. A beautiful setting and a very memorable experience.

Visited my ancestral traditional living squatters built as a consolidated united community for better living environments and survival. There are still many families living in the tulou. Main business is agriculture and tourism. The roads leading to the tulou are made up of irregularly shaped stones. As such, it’s not easy to pull the big luggage along (few hundred metres walk). Recommend to carry backpacks for short stays, leave the big luggage at the tourists centre. Good experience to live together with friendly people whom I can practice my Hakka. They also provide home-cooked meals, reasonable prices. Good food.

The stay was amazing and the room is very clean! It is a worthy experience to stay in nature this way. Don’t worry about the toilet not being in the room. The owners are very welcoming and caring and make delicious food.

Really nice stay. The boss was helpful and I felt like at home. Very interesting to stay in the tulou. Summer can be hot with no air conditioning, but there is a fan in the room.

The place is very clean, location is perfect, people are very nice. The next 2 scenic areas are quite near. I cold stay here for a couple of days. I can point only one thing for improvement - since you let to book on international site, please, at least menu in English!

It's fantastic being able to stay in the Tulou, and the staff were so welcoming.

Excellent location in the Tulou. Friendly family that will cook you food, make tea and sit and have chats with you. Note: only speak Chinese but they are very accommodating. The rooms were a little cold but they have extra blankets and a space heater. The shower is a shared one as the Tulous don’t have modern facilities but the water is hot. A very lovely and unique experience.

The tulou is very nice and the access an overnight stay gives you is great. The cluster is worth staying one night. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The lack of a private bathroom could be an issue because the shared one is just the public toilet outside the tulou.

If you want to stay inside the real Tulou and take closely with Hakka people I recommend this Homestay Just take Tulou bus transport and get off at the viewpoint of Tulou and walk down along the street to this Tulou

Clean hotel and located inside of a tulou for a great experience. The host is a fantastic guy who naturally trief to make me feel at ease. I wanted to tip him, but he gently refused. I would definitly recomend ! Thanks for the experience ✌️

Our staying at the Tulou was a great experience! We could not only enjoy the view and the vibes of the place during the day but also at night. The people were really friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable to have a first-hand experience of living in such a beautiful place!

民宿衹有六間房，剩下都是原住民，晚上無娛樂，整棟樓的原住民陪聊。 房間無空調蚊蟲多僅公共衞浴，雖價格便宜，但體驗感超強，比青普強。
