Impero Nafplio Hotel & Suites

This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Old Town Nafplio. It's just steps from the waterfront, with rooms 5 and 6 offering fantastic sea views from their balconies, and right in the thick of shops and restaurants. It's a short walk to the nearest beach, Arvanitia (stones, no sand, beach bar), and for folks who like to walk or run -- go EARLY in the morning to avoid brutal summer heat -- it's about 3 miles along a sometimes-paved/ mostly dirt/gravel hiking trail to the sandy beach at Karathona. We stayed here for 7 nights, in Room 7 (Grand Suite) - it's the largest room, with a huge balcony (Palamidi view), and it was a great home base for a long stay, but know that it's on the 3rd floor of a renovated historical building, and there is no elevator. There is also minimal storage in the suite, aside from a closet for hanging - there is a sofa and ottoman as well as an extra twin size bed in a separate sleeping area, and these worked fine for laying out clothes. The outdoor space has chairs and a table, and worked great for drying swimsuits (was too hot to spend too much time there during our visit). Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, including sweets, fresh orange juice, eggs any style, Greek yogurt with amazing honey, etc. Desk staff Diana and Agape were attentive and helpful. We would definitely return to Impero!

Great location. Great value include an awesome breakfast, compare the hotels one street back & without breakfast. Quiet neighbourhood. Great decor. Super clean. Receptionist was very helpful. Breakfast buffet has lots of variety. Inexpensive, quality and service.

One of the most elegant, cosy and tasteful places I’ve ever stay at - pleasant and welcoming. Gorgeous building with amazing architecture, and it only gets more breath-taking when you walk in. High quality rooms, and exceptional service. Among the best stay ever. I look forward to book my next trip to Nafplio and book the premium suite on the top floor!

Service, cleanliness, staff, excellent. Small boutique hotel. Wonderful. Breakfast wonderful. Convenient to center of town, beautiful view of the harbor. Short walk, to the busy street. Front desk person directed us to spend the day at the ancient theater and on to a tavern named Stork. Million dollar views. Never would have found it otherwise.

Superb location in front of the port and Bourtzi castle. The hotel is an old mansion with few rooms, fully refurbished with style and objects of design. We stayed in a triple room with plenty of space and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was stylish and clean, with hydromassage jets. The room and all the hotel have 6 meter ceilings, which amplify the feeling of space. Staff was really nice and helpful, with tips on what to visit and where to eat. Breakfast is correct with fresh orange juice and variety of food. Price is very affordable por the location and quality of the hotel. A thing to take into account is the lack of an elevator to carry luggage up to the rooms, as there are high stairs to reach the rooms. We had a problem with water pouring from the AC system in the room, but it was quickly solved by the staff.

The best hotel in Nafplion, perfect location since its walking distance from the old town of Nafplion. The rooms are very comfortable with beautiful decoration and very clean. Their breakfast is amazing with a great variety! The most important thing is the personel. They will do their best to accommodate you, they are very courteous and polite! There is no such a hotel that offers all the above in Nafplion. Extremely highly recommended!!
