First of all I want to mention that we already stayed here 2 times in the past. But this time we were sadly dissappointed about some things in the hotel.
- We booked an extra bed for a 3.person and when then 3.person arrived the bed wasn't in the room - even though the 3.person checked in and we already paid for the bed. After calling the reception twice someone came and brought the bed.
The quality of the breakfast buffet definitly decreased, which made us sad because the breakfast was always one of our favourite things in Hotel J. Not many options at the breakfast buffet and even though the buffet ends at 11:00, many food choices completely ran out at 9:00 every day. No orange juice available after 9:00. The staff was super slow with filling up things at the buffet and you had to wait for about 20 minutes at least to be able to get your favourite food choices. Also you can't get hot chocolate on the upper floor at breakfast, only downstairs?! The staff told me to go downstairs to the 2.breakfast buffet to order hot chocolate, so I had to wait for 10 minutes before I could go back to my family and have my breakfast.
The rooms could need some small improvements for example the floors partly have many scratches.
The area around the Hotel (a lot of nature) and the short distance to Stockholm by boat.
Due to the decrease of quality I would choose a different hotel for my next stay in Stockholm.
