The Serai Kabini

Our stay at the Serai was exceptional, with cozy rooms, breathtaking views, delectable cuisine, and a dedicated staff that ensured a truly memorable experience. We plan to revisit soon and highly recommend it for families with kids due to its scenic surroundings, child-friendly a**osphere, and a plethora of activities. Special thanks to individuals who levelled up our stay: - Dhilan at the reception: He not only explained the resort intricacies but also suggested perfect spots for capturing a sunset picture. One must spend time a good time to get to know his experiences. - Mr. Chamraja, the naturalist: Guiding us during the safari, Mr. Chamraja expertly located animals and shared insights about their habitats. We were fortunate to spot the tiger. Mr. Chamraja also explained its habitat and their movements. Fortunate to have him during our safari tour. - Winston, Restaurant ***ager: Mr. Winston's excellent food recommendations and creative bar creations added to our enjoyment. He is so cheerful and friendly person. - Prabhakar and Santosh at the restaurant: Their spot-on recommendations and warm smiles made our dining experience memorable. - Sunil & ***oj at Housekeeping: Their attentive and humble service contributed to a warm and comfortable stay. - Chef Nitin and the culinary team: A special thanks to Chef Nitin for teaching my daughter to bake chocolates. The entire culinary team consistently served top-class meals and embraced feedback to customise the food for us. Although there are ***y more names we could mention, every individual at the resort played a crucial role in making our stay truly unforgettable. We look forward to returning soon.

An amazing place for vacation, family friendly and a beautiful place, with river view. Excellent staff, great hospitality. Really good service given by Mr Ramesh Shetty in the restaurant. Our celebrations were made more special by Avinash from room service. Amazing staff. Will definitely visit again.

The place is just amazing with an uninterrupted river view. Huge property with just 20 cottages and lots varieties like sports, cycling,kayaking, boating. In the lap of nature blissful retreat. Another attraction is Food, such a big spread with various options that don’t repeat.taste is just awesome. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Each and everyone smiles and greets and if need be guides you in write way. Reception, restaurant,room cleaning to security everyone is warm with prompt service

We had a very pleasant stay at The Serai Kabini. The resort is located on the backwaters of Kabini river, which was one of the primary attractions for us. The food was very good and the staff extremely polite and friendly. We celebrated my wife’s birthday during our stay there and Mr. ***oj from the housekeeping depar**ent made it all the more special for us with his creative and artistic room decoration. All safaris (jungle and boat) were arranged seamlessly by the resort ***ager and naturalist, and we were extremely fortunate to have witnessed 3 tiger sightings over a span of 2 jungle safaris in the short trip we made to Kabini. All in all, it was a very joyful experience amidst a much needed and deserved break from our daily routine, and the staff at the resort left no stone unturned in helping us achieve that.

Very good stay...warm,polite & trained staff. Backwater has a very good stretch for cycling, coracle boat ride was fun. Resort incharge Mahesh is a gentle***, he has a personal connect with every guest and ensures the requirements are taken care well. Overall stay was comfortable with prompt room service.

No TV. The Resort has the responsibility to inform the customers before booking. Whatever their logic but with something as basic as TV missing, kids get on their parents phones and ipads, which is not a great way to enjoy a vacation. Restaurant food service is very, very slow and food is basic with no taste. Especially since there is no other hotels within 20km of the resort. We checked-in at 3pm and the AC in our room stopped working at 4pm. After multiple calls, it was rectified. We went to the pool, which was unkempt with no attendant. The place might be great, but not as great as it sounds or the photos might look, especially since its 30K per night. Very disappointed, since we were looking forward to this stay and the wild life safari experience, which we did not take as it was 3.5k per person. There was nothing else to do other than eat and sleep and walk around the lake facing property. Overall everyone is friendly, Suprit & ***oj our room attenders ensured the room was clean and comfortable during our 2 day stay.

The stay in Kabini was really good. Very kind staff and immediate response to any query or need. The place is clean and has a very good vibe. Food quality was really good too. Special mention to Mr.Shekhar who was really kind in both stay and safari. His smiling face makes us have a smile too. Thanks to him.
