Ostraco Suites

This hotel is absolutely stunning!! Photos cannot do justice to how beautiful this hotel is. Stayed 3 nights. Nice hotel with good pool area, a variety of high quality pool loungers and seating. Good breakfast with extensive menu. Staff were attentive. Our room was nicely furnished and clean with fully stocked mini bar, however, the outside seating area was by a very busy road which somewhat detracted from the overall experience. The town and harbour (15 minutes walk away) had narrow streets with a vast array of shops, bars and restaurants. Would we stay again 🤔 hotel yes, Mykonos, maybe not for us.

I don’t usually write reviews as often as I should, despite how much we travel—as a couple, with family, and for business, several times a year. I even work in the cruise industry, so I’ve seen my fair share of hotels. But this place? It deserves a moment in the spotlight! First off, I feel terrible for not asking for there names, but I think the team is led by Alex, Sophia, and a few others who all deserve a shout-out. It’s a small team—or at least it feels that way because the service is so personal and intimate. This hotel is a true hidden gem! Normally, I’m quick to spot things that could be improved—whether it's a tiny cleanliness issue or something not quite right. But here? There was literally nothing to complain about. Everything was absolutely flawless. I’m lying in my own bed now after getting back home, and let me tell you—I usually can’t wait to be back in my own bed. But this time? I actually miss *their* bed! The staff are phenomenal. They can’t do enough for you, and it feels so genuine. They make you feel like family, and you can sense their passion for what they do. It’s not just a job for them—it’s a calling, and it shows in every interaction. The rooms are stunning, a perfect mix of modern flair with traditional Greek island charm. And spotless! They’re cleaned twice a day, likely as part of a luxurious turndown service (which apart from a luxury 6* hotel in Dubai, I’ve never had) Everything feels so fresh and crisp, from the linens to the little details around the room. It’s the kind of place where you just feel cared for. As for the food, the drink prices are what you'd expect for Mykonos—not the cheapest island in Greece, but we knew that going in. We had lunch one day—a pizza and a toasted sandwich—and it was absolutely delicious! But the real standout? *Breakfast!* Hands down one of the best breakfast menus I’ve ever experienced, with impeccable service from the food and beverage team. It was next-level. Please do not change how your doing this!!! The entire hotel is super clean, well-kept, and full of thoughtful little touches. Everything is modern, fresh, and welcoming. In short, this place is pure magic—don’t hesitate, just book it! Message to the hotel: If I was gonna change anything, *not a moan* 1) Sun loungers get some of them sunbeds that you can adjust! The ones you have are perfectly fine by the way just I like to sit up and lay down! 2) Have an iron and ironing board, not a steamer just for speed! Please don’t change we will certainly come back Ash & Kay

Incredible service from A to Z. The breakfast is served a la carte and outstanding. Great lunch & dinner menue and a lovely pool area. The rooms are lovely, some with jacuzzi, some with a terrace. From minibar to toileteries and hairdryer is available in your room. An easy 15 min. walk into (busy) town.

Our second time - absolutely wonderful & could hardly bear to leave! Very friendly & personal hotel - outstanding service from the moment we arrived at the airport. Nice room with hot tub & fabulous view - a little in need of an upgrade & maintenance but was fine - the view from the tub was spectacular (again!). The food is exceptional - especially if you like fish - best food we have eaten on holiday anywhere - Alex went way beyond our expectations to make sure everything was perfect. A little noisy on the balcony but then we are only 15 minutes walk to center of town but not an issue. Perhaps could do with a little more privacy when in the tub/balcony perhaps a few additional screens would help Added bonus were the kittens! Daily breakfast & dinner entertainment. Cant wait to go back

I’m truly baffled by some of the reviews for Ostraco Suites, perhaps all of the guests that found the time to write reviews weren’t staying in the rooms at the front of the hotel i.e. those bordering the busy main road into Mykonos Town. What’s worse is that the hotel’s location is right by the roundabout which is gridlocked for most of the day and night, meaning that trucks, cars and motorbikes rumble through 24 hours a day, often beeping their horns as they navigate a busy roundabout or sit stationary for long periods of time. We were staying in room 103 which, unfortunately, is the nearest to the hotel entrance and road. Trying to sleep during the four days we stayed here was a challenge for a number of reasons; 1. Close to the road and roundabout resulting in incessant noise all of the time. 2. The small bed, probably no bigger than a standard double, meant to accomodate two adults both over 6’ tall, resulting in our legs hanging over the end of the bed. 3. Concrete floors meaning that any small noise in the room above permeates down relentlessly. I’m tempted to suggest having a few drinks at the bar to assist with sleeping, however the cost of an Aperol Spritz is an eye watering €25 or AUD$40 which is just ridiculous. What I can say is that the pool area is very good. Alex and the team that run the bar and restaurant are exceptionally good as well, Alex is an extremely helpful and genuine guy. Food is pretty good as well, with healthy options that are well cooked and presented. Just don’t order a cocktail unless you’re either rich or mad!
