Belvedere Mykonos - Main Hotel - the Leading Hotels of the World

Belvedere Mykonos Hill Top suites have the BEST VIEWS anywhere in Mykonos! Their staff is super friendly and incredibly helpful. The driver Pedros, he is a dream to be accommodated by. Pedros bends over backwards for you, more than he should. It is his kind nature. What an incredible employee. Please give Pedros a raise! He deserves it!! The walk to the hill top part is quite treacherous as the roads are unfinished and have large spaces in between the cement that I cannot wear high heels on. Pedros drove us up and down Multiple times a day and was always just 2min away. The room itself was lovely with a huge terrace that fit a couch and a 6 person table & chairs. It is very light in the room, so clean and fresh. The pools are exceptionally clean. Word to the wise, there is a mini pool at the hill top suites where-as the larger pool is down at the regular part of the hotel where you do not need to be driven to go to the pool each time. Beds are firm but not too firm. Bathroom was kind of small for a suite but the view made up for that. Christina the manager at the hill top belvedere, she was more than helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. She had fresh fruit upon arrival, an assortment. It is very close to everything, we could not have picked a better spot to be in. The only other better spot would be somewhere near the ocean which really would have not much of a view since it is at the bottom of the hill. Being at the top of the hill allowed for an enormous view of the entire city. AC works incredibly well. You will not sweat.

The hotel advertises itself as a 5 Star hotel but it is far from the 5 Star hotels we have stayed in like Ritz Carlton properties, JW Marriott, St. Regis, etc. We booked a sea and pool view room and our balcony view looked into a trash strewn alley with a homeless family just off our balcony. Since we didn't want to sit on our balcony, we took a glass of wine down to sit outside by the pool around 6:30. One of the staff members came by to tell us the pool was closed for dinner and we needed to leave within 10 minutes. Basically they take over the entire pool area to serve dinner although we were not told this in advance and there was no signage to indicate this. One of the front desk managers told us the next day that we could have moved to a different area by the pool but the staff member had not mentioned this. At the nightly price for the room we were extremely disappointed with the facilities, location, and service. I asked to speak to the manager on duty rather than writing an unfavorable review but after the staff member checked with them, we were told they not available but were offered a different room with a better view. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and a property we would never recommend or frequent again.

All I can say is the Belvedere is an oasis on Mykonos. A home away from home. The staff were stellar. The kindness was unparalleled. Any problem was immediately addressed. The breakfast was fabulous. The beds were like a cloud. I would definitely return if I get the chance. Thank you Hotel Belvedere and all your staff.

What an amazing experience. We had to stay in Mykonos for one extra night because our flight got canceled. The staff of the hotel was just supreme, they accommodated us with a very short notice, gave us drinks and fruit upon our arrival from the airport and did everything to make us feel welcomed. The hotel is so beautiful and the rooms are big and luxurious. Amenities are top notch. I can’t describe enough how amazing the staff and service are, the views from our room are breathtaking. No doubt this is my new pick to come back and stay again!

Belvedere restaurant and bar has been one of the icons of "top level" Mykonos evening places. Used to be funny, full with a nice crowd and great ambience and drinks. This year was a total disappointment: plastic flowers, two bored ladies at the bar, no live DJ, drinks are too simple and without personal touch for the cost of 30 euro per drink. Barmen look at the book to make a proper negroni.... Total disappointment for the high cost. Please escape from this place as many new and nice places have been open with a nice ambience and friendly and professional staff.

Save your time and money and do not stay at this hotel. We stayed during the last weekend before the hotel closed for the weekend, and it was very obvious. The staff was cold and not accommodating. They were in shutting down process, and they were not shy about making that known. The pool area was being closed off the last day we were there. I felt unwelcome and like we were intruding. We booked a room with a jacuzzi and found the first night that the jacuzzi was not working/was not getting warm. We called hotel staff who said they would need to look into it the next day. We didn’t hear from anyone the next day and had to follow up in the early evening, which is when they informed us the jacuzzi could not be fixed and we would need to move to another room. They were not apologetic and instead acted like it was a nuisance. We moved to another room and asked to be compensated for not being able to use the jacuzzi we paid for the night before. The woman said she would need to check with management, but did not sound assuring. The next evening, someone called at 5:15 saying they could offer a complimentary massage at 6:00 (45 minute notice!) We could not manage that on such short notice. We again mentioned the jacuzzi situation during checkout and asked for a discount on the room for that night. The woman at the front desk made a phone call and then said the hotel would compensate us with 10% off our booking price when we come back next summer. We could not help but laugh at this. We eventually settled and received 30% off the room for that night, but the entire process left a horrible taste in our mouths. We felt like we were getting hussled from the minute we walked into the hotel. We will never return.
