MyCocoon Hostel

We absolutely loved staying at this hostel. It was amazing location, great price, good facilities, perfect for sunset Pres! Also when we had to stay an extra night because of cancelled ferries, they were super accommodating and made our stay so much better☺️ Massive shoutout to the man who worked at the supermarket at the hostel. His name is George, but we call him G. He literally is the best, he made us feel like we were right at home, gave us free snacks, always had a massive smile on his face and was so happy to see us, as we were to see him. We always loved to pay him little visits throughout the day, just to have a chat and say hi. It was definitely sad to say our goodbyes, but we will always remember G. We even made a handshake with him🥺 GIVE THIS MAN A PAY RAISE IMMEDIATELY🫶🫶🙏🙏💗💗 We hope to see him again in the future, but if we don’t, we want to wish him all the best, and he is always welcome in Australia❤️ Love his favourite customers, A & B xo

Beautiful hostel, Helena at reception is very friendly and helpful, but the place needs important maintenance and deep cleaning in the rooms and showers. Location is good, between center and new port. Steps to go up thr thr beds not stable at times and very small.

Great hostel and location. The woman in the capsule was lovely. The man Kostas was friendly at first but was inappropriate and I found him creepy. I urge female travellers to avoid this place if he is still there. The car and rental place next door is run by a man called kostas, but he is lovely. Kind, trust worthy and helpful

Had the best tine here. The rooms were spotless, beds comfortable and the staff were amazing. Helpful and friendly and went over and above to make my stay enjoyable. Kostas and the young girl (didn't catch her name) made me feel welcome and I cannot wait to return !! 😀

I stayed at one night at this hostel, it's walking part from the new port you can get the sea taxi and walk distance. The location can be quite confusing it's near the taxi rank and next to post office. Very convenient location for the pricey mykonos so you are paying for location and island itself. The only thing I struggled to get to top bunk there is the rocks to get to top but I felt I was rock bouldering and had to get someone from night security to help get me to top as I worried I fall down as there isn't a staircase only rocks to climb. Otherwise all good. I didn't try the pool but it looks really good

This is a great hostel. I totally recommend it. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I saw some bad reviews that got me thinking but decided to go for it, the best decision. The staff was super nice, Helena in the front desk is great, she provided lots of recommendations and was always available to resolve issues. I stayed for 5 nights from June 15th of 2023 and would totally do it again. It is a hostel, not a hotel so you need to understand that all spaces are shared, which is normal for a hostel. I stayed in the big room, and can say beds are comfortable and there's enough storage space (I had a huge bag and it fitted in the locker beneath the bed). People at night were respectful with the noise (although I didn't spend a lot of time sleeping at night), and also during the day people don't make a lot of noise. The facilities are clean, and the place has all you need to relax and explore Mykonos. It is very well located, walking distance from the center where everything happens, restaurants, bars, etc... There is a store downstairs that sells all basics and a ATV rental company that has a discount for the hostel guests (highly recommend paying the deposit in cash, as the reimbursement takes a very long time, I am still waiting for mine). The common space is a great place to meet friends, the pool is cool for refreshing and has spots for sun bathing. Overall, it was a great stay for the price, given hotels are super expensive in Mykonos and don't allow for meeting great people. 100% recommended
