Hotel Sa Pedra

I agree with all the positive reviews previously submitted. This hotel is a family run and there attention to their clients is excellent whatever nationality. The hotel is situated in a quiet town which if you have done your research you would know this . This hotel and town is typically Italian it’s about good food beaches and being relaxed please note no English cafes or bars it’s not Benidorm. The hotel captures the best of Italy . The breakfast is excellent all as expected continental the pastries are home made i recommend the chocolate croissant it’s with real Nutella . Their bar is also first class with all food home grown which also serves the restaurant. The restaurant is as good as a high quality London restaurant but with reasonable prices don’t be put off by one of the reviews we are here a majority of the time . The other local restaurants were also great but the presentation and quality was better here , The beaches are beautiful with clear waters . There are 2 of which the hotel provides a shuttle bus but I Prefered the local one marina marina 15 min walk much calmer crystal waters and you could walk out a considerable distance before water would get deep .Even though my room had the worst view and near the lobby it was cleaned to a high standard the maids are excellent and guess what you get clean towels every day !,Thd air con is sufficient,I have paid more for a package holiday and this room Is still better than them . You must remember this is a typical Italian holiday most Italians travel here it’s not Spain . I must thank the staff and managers for a great stay

I stayed 1 night at Hotel Sa Pedra with a friend as it was close to Olbia airport for the flight the next morning and a good place to explore Murta Maria area. The hotel was good. Free parking outside. They initially accidently put us in a double bedroom when we requested two single beds, but they quickly corrected it and allocated us in a room with two single beds which was good. The pool was reasonably big and plenty of places to relax. Bathroom was spacious with nice smelling body wash and shampoo. The room was a little hot and stuffy. The breakfast buffet had a big selection, but the quality of the food wasn't that good, a lot of the food was packaged food and not freshly cooked or prepared by a chef, I have had better breakfast buffets in most other hotels. Overall, the hotel was good for a 1 night stay.

We were having a 3 night break and just wanted to lie in the sun, so this hotel was perfect fir that. Short transfer by taxi from the airport so didn’t waste too much time travelling. The location was a bit disappointing, on a very busy road and nowhere really to walk to if you like to explore the local area. My fault for not researching better! Is tan a beach is about a mile away and easy enough to walk. The shuttle bus from the hotel was great, and free, but only runs at certain times. It worked well for us but we didn’t get to see the amazing coastline that Sardinia is famous for. Tho hotel staff on reception were always very helpful. Breakfast was continental and a good range. We had a triple room, one king size and one single bed. Was a bit cramped but very clean. Good sized balcony too. Garden and pool are well tended and very peaceful. We stayed in June so maybe it’s busier in high season? The cafe attached to the hotel is really popular with locals. There are a few restaurants you can walk to, along the busy road. We didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant as looked a bit too fine-dining for us. Overall, happy with the hotel for what we paid for. It was fine for our 3 day trip but I think I would feel claustrophobic if I’d stayed longer. And a taxi to Olbia is about 50 euros!

I visited Sa Pedra Hotel with my daughter last week and we had a lovely time. The staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are clean and well furnished with enough wardrobe space/drawers etc. There is a lovely pool area also which we didn't really use as were visiting beaches (which are stunning) one is nearby that you can walk to in around 15 minutes and the other larger beach is accessed by the free shuttle service from the hotel.

Great hotel, near few nice beaches if you have a car. They also provide transfer to one of the closest beach. From breakfast team I would like to mention Mariana and Bogdan which where very welcoming and very professional. The young Lady from the reception can’t remember her name but very warm welcome and attitude. The room could do with a kettle and few glasses/cup.

Unbelievable , anyone stays here is crazy, worst stay in my life from any hotel . No parking anywhere night mare , then try and give us a room on highway with 70 stairs up , absolutely unacceptable , then there is full blown party on premises , and no one is allowed to use the pool , noise from other rooms right through floors all night . Staff loud cleaning form party it’s 1 am , Then wake up and find a huge spot light shining in our room , bizarre!!! This is the worst hotel ever !!!!!! The bed as hard as rock could not sleep . Note I do. Or complain or write reviews but this I have never experienced , Run!!!

We arrived very late from Rome and were warmly & professionally welcomed by Emanuel. Our room was perfect for the 3 of us- a king bed and a twin in an almost second room. A lovely big balcony provided us with fresh air and a place for late night reading. The amenities in the room were ample and the place was modern, stylish and immaculate. The next morning we decided to extend our stay for a 2nd night so we could take advantage of the spacious pool, gardens, and free shuttle to the nearby beach. The buffet was plentiful with eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit,juices, coffee, teas, pancakes, cheeses, and ham, all fresh and delicious. Back at the front desk, the lovely Marcela provided us with answers to every question. She also recommended the name of a nearby pizza restaurant and the finest dining option, Portolano. After a quick swim for my laps, we took the shuttle to the beach. The pool was just a bit chilly due to the cooling September nights, but easy to acclimate. Both Emanuel & Marcella as well as everyone else at the hotel made our stay a perfect launch to our Italian vacation. We would absolutely return!

Warm, friendly staff greet you in a charming hotel that has excellent cuisine and lovely gardens. Sardinia is beautiful though the local town of Murta Maria is not particularly pretty. The town does have a small supermarket, excellent ice cream parlour, fruit shop and bakers. The hotel has a cafe which sells incredible pastries and snacks. The hotel offers a free bus shuttle to a local beach and another beach is in walking distance. Local busses run to Olbia and San Teodore but not very frequently. A taxi to Olbia is 40 Euros each way. There are quite a few steps to negotiate at the hotel so physically challenging. Breakfast is mainly Continental but with bacon and scrambled eggs available. Lunch and dinner are 3 courses. First and second courses each have four options with a pastry for desert. Portions are generous. The food is delicious. Some other guests questioned the 4 star rating but we certainly had no problem with it.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, we had lovely views from our room including Porto Istana. Room was lovely and kept very clean and tidy. In a quite location with a few restaurants near by. Staff was friendly and helpful. One negative I would say was breakfast, I would say there should be more choice but the delicious pastries were delicious. I would definitely go back for another holiday here.
