Alpenhof Murnau

酒店來住過很多次，還是很喜歡的。酒店很温馨，不是很大，門口停車還是很方便的。花園有游泳池和泡澡池，即使冬天早上很冷，還可以泡熱的澡。早餐非常好，最喜歡這邊的早餐。 這邊入住適合自己開車前往，不然不是特別方便。

Alpenhof is a nice enough hotel, but so many little things were off, there’s no way it can compare to other five star hotels in the Alps. Starting with the arrival by car - greeted by a phalanx of no stopping signs in the entrance, best just to drive directly into the parking garage and unpack there. The how-fast-can-I-say-my-greeting speech introduction to the hotel from the lady checking us in. The varying levels of maintenance on the walls, furniture etc (brown stain in the porcelain sink, mirror damaged, screen door opens and slams shut in the wind, random little hook sticking out of the wall in the hallway, …) Being woken on Sunday around 830 to what sounded like construction but turned out to be the maids pushing their trolleys across tiles in the hallway. The outlandish prices in the restaurant for food that was ok but nothing else (fish overcooked, portion tiny) A breakfast buffet with “everything” but not at a quality I’d expect of 5*. Seemed more like what you’d get if you did your shopping at Aldi, bread and cheese included (meaning not bad, but also not special) The narrow hallway connecting the spa with the outside pool with showers you may or may not find, where you can dry off after your shower as people press by you. That said there were also little gems. Some of the staff was very friendly (especially at the restaurant for breakfast but also some front desk staff too)! The outdoor and indoor pool were both nice. Eating breakfast in the gardens was lovely. And to be fair, those other 5* places cost a bunch more. So I guess it’s a mix of broken expectations caused by the rating, some unfriendly staff at the front desk (though there were really friendly ones there too!) plus a lack of attention to detail that I’d expect from 4* too that made this a disappointment in general.

enjoyed a few days when visiting Oberammergau Festival.... Rooms are ok, servicer and front desk super nice, helpful, thankyou. Maybe the dinner was a bit on the up-side pricewise.... But all in all enjoyed the stay. might be back, Rented an ebike and had fun, too.

Wonderful hotel in an absolutely beautiful environment! Lovely rooms, great wellness and pool areas and lots to do!! The food was fantastic as were the amazing cocktails at the friendly and cosy bar with fireplace! Felt very comfortable and welcome with our 3 kids. And what really stands out is the quality of the staff - extremely helpful and friendly and motivated. We had a fantastic time and hope to come back soon!

Schlechtester Hotelaufenthalt seit Jahren viele schreiende Kinder am viel zu kleinen Pool …nichts für ruhesuchende Gäste kein Service am Pool ..neben uns überall leere Schüsseln , Teller ,Gläser…schlecht gepflegter Garten Zimmer; Wir kommen vom Ammersee …sind mit dem Fahrrad angereist … habe vorher um Zimmer mit Dusche gebeten …wir haben natürlich ein Zimmer mit Badewanne und Blick auf den Parkplatz …..auch renoviert war das Bad keineswegs … und das bei einem Zimmerpreis von über 300 Euro … nach Beschwerde an der Rezeption wurde uns noch ein schlechteres Zimmer gezeigt mit Dusche nur mit Duschvorhang abgetrennt …eigentlich wie in der Reha..nur bin ich hier in der Reha?? Auch das Abendessen (55 Euro pro Person als HP) ist nicht als Highlight zu betrachten. Schade …wir hatten vor 6 Jahren eine gute Zeit im Alpenhof … leider ist davon nix übrig!!

Wer überall der beste sein will verliert sich ! Leider völlig überforderter Hotelbetrieb. Als Gast kamen wir uns wie ein Wirtschaftsfaktor vor. Ich habe Jahrelang über Monate am Stück in Hotels auf der ganzen Welt verbracht. So etwas durfte ich zum Glück noch nicht erleben.

ZIMMER; BAD GUT AUSGESTATTET, auch für Gehbehinderte. WC - Stüzen und Halt im Bad wären wünschenswert. Personal in jedem Bereich sehr freundlich und kompetent. Die Empfehlungen des Sommeliers waren hervorragend. Im Zimmer fehlten ein paar Blumen Kissenmenü ist eine fantastische Idee.

Die Küche/Restaurant ist, gelinde gesagt am Rand einer Katastrophe Mit der Vielzahl der Gäste kommt der Service kaum zurecht Das Essen entspricht einer Mensa Die Auswahl der Gerichte war sparsam Die Zimmer waren okay Ich soll 200 Zeichen schreiben es fällt mir aber nichts Gutes mehr ein

Zunächst Die Pluspunkte: Die Lage in Murnau ist sehr schön und ruhig. Grosse freie Wiesen für die Kinder zum Toben und ein schöner gepflegter Pool. Unsere Ferienwohnung war sehr geräumig, wenn auch sehr basic möbliert. Gute Matratzen, ansonsten eher 80er Jahre Charm; Waschmaschine und Trockner stehen wie abgestellt wahllos in der Küche rum, die Einrichtung entspricht eher einem einfachen Airbnb. Der Weinkeller des Restaurants ist erstaunlich exklusiv sortiert. Zu Essen gibt es allerdings wenig, was den schönen Tropfen gerecht wird. Die Qualität der Küche ist allenfalls mittelmäßig. Größtes Manko dieses Hauses ist das Personal. Dass ist größtenteils 3 Sterne, wenn es denn überhaupt vorhanden ist. Die Servicequalität ist wirklich eine Katastrophe. Das beginnt beim check-in: Um 18.30 „Entschuldigung ich bin alleine“. Gepäckservice Fehlanzeige. Die schließlich herbeigerufene Kollegin maulte rum, dass der dauernde Personalmangel ihr auf die Nerven geht. Dieses Problem zog sich 3 Tage lang durch: Völlig überforderte Mitarbeiter bedienten uns entweder gar nicht, mit enormer Verzögerung - 1 Stunde Wartezeit auf einen Salat in einem leeren Restaurant? - oder derart unfreundlich, dass einem jegliche Lust verging im Restaurant zu bestellen. Auch um uns herum beschwerten sich die Gäste reihenweise. Dass die Bewirtungsbelege oft nicht stimmten war sicher keine Absicht. Es mangelte den Mitarbeitern wahrscheinlich schlicht an Ausbildung und Engagement. Besonders viele jüngere Kollegen waren sichtlich genervt von ihrem Job. Ganz offensichtlich hat das Hotel ein massives Führungsproblem. Mit 5 Sternen hat der Alpenhof nichts zu tun. Mit dem Marketing, allerdings auch der preislichen Positionierung, weckt das Hotel Erwartungen, die es bei weitem nicht erfüllt.
