The hotel staffs are so kindly. Location is not bad and it takes under 10mins to go there from München Hauptbahnhof.

As a group of 4 who fly standby, we tend to book our hotel upon arrival. We were pleased that Hotel Alfa had a quad room available. Antone was very helpful in getting us registered and settled into our room. We're were there for the Christmas markets but Antone had other great local suggestions. Rhe breakfast was so delicious and the staff was very kind and accommodating. Such a great family owned hotel and less then a 2 block walk from the train/bus station. Highly Recommend!

Hidden gem that is great as a base to explore Munich and surrounds. Walking distance to historic downtown, museums, university campus, and easy access to central train station and metro. Comfortable rooms that are very clean, extensive breakfast and multi-lingual friendly helpful staff. Would absolutely choose again.

It is an excellent and highly convenient location with such supportive staff. The staff went over and above to make us comfortable and help us. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to make another reservation for my next trip to Munich. The breakfast is also very good

Conveniently near the train station, the hotel Hauptbonhof. Friendly and very helpful staff. Anton Moser, the manager, is the man! There's complimentary tea and coffee in the room. The electric outlets are off course European style, so remember to bring your converters. If we ever take another trip to Munich we'll most likely come back to Hotel Alfa.

Great location! Right next to the station. Use the tram (16) to go to English Garden (stop Tivoli street) with the same tram you can stop right in the centre or walk it cause it’s very close. The staff was very nice, especially the young gentleman with the glasses (so sorry but we did not get the name) He really really made us feel at home. The breakfast is great too! Maybe it’s a bit over priced for what it is but we think the prices were higher than usual cause of the Adele concert. Parking is small but good I recommend this hotel for those in search of good location

We have been going to the Alfa for quite a few years. We bring 14 responsible students from a university in the States for an Education Abroad program. It is very close to the train station and a convenient walk to all the hotspots! Anton and his staff go out of their way to make sure the accommodations are top notch for our students. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning is perfect, and the breakfasts for 15 euro are WORTH IT!!!! (There is a grilled cheese something for breakfast that we all devoured!) I cannot express how much we adore the family owned Hotel Alfa. It’s a hotel with a bed and breakfast atmosphere. We highly recommend this hotel!

Our stay at Hotel Alfa was fantastic! The rooms were clean, and the hotel staff were incredibly engaging and attentive. They ensured we had everything we needed and quickly restocked towels and shower shampoo. Despite its proximity to the train station, our room was remarkably quiet, and we never heard the trains. The location was perfect for us, just a short walk from the Munich train station. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the windows provided excellent ventilation. We were delighted with our room's outside deck, which was a lovely touch. Although the hotel is just outside Alt Stadt, the walk was easy and enjoyable: only 15 minutes to the Rathaus and 20 minutes to the HofBräuhaus. Breakfast was delicious and worth the additional charge. We also appreciated the late check-out option, allowing us to stay in our room until our 15:44 train departure for a reasonable fee. Hotel Alfa is a charming, family-run hotel offering a personal touch that is often missing in larger chain hotels. We will stay here again on our next visit to Munich!

Very nice Place, clean and tidy. Extraordinary friendly owner who helped with everything we asked for. We ran in here accidentally caused by a Terminated Train, would defenitely Go there again. Located very close to munich central Station.
