Truly enjoyed my stay at Amba hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and the stay is comfortable and pleasant. However, the room is little weird and it is pretty small. Hotel is well situated near city center which is really convenient.

Very good location with the airport express bus stopping right in front of the hotel. Directly opposite Munich central train station. Next door is a small convenience store. Extremely good value for money with room big enough for 4 beds, many power outlets and all bedsides came with bedside reading lights. Has a desk for traveller who needs to catch up with some work. Toilet is well equipped complete with clean towels, heater, hot water & great shower area. Wardrobe is large and this is supplemented by an additional hanging rod beside it. Room had a musty smell when we first entered but this dissipated quickly once we opened the large window to let him fresh (& super cool (cold?) air. Reception gave us a brand new kettle (packaging intact with all the plastic coverings) and this helps us to eat some instant noodles- we checked in too late to have any decent meal. Highly recommended to travellers who need an overnight stay to catch a train the next day from Munich central train station. Our experience is contrary to those who wrote negative reviews.

Safe and convenient. Lufthansa express bus stops directly in front of the hotel. Superb location, opposite Central station. I would recommend to take Lufthansa Express Bus to avoid hustle by dragging all baggage down the road.

All the staff was friendly but the ones on charge for the breakfast they were kinda rude. Check in must be flexible even though the traveler might pay more.

The location is really good, just in front of the Central Station, they clean our room every day we stayed 3nights. And the price is cheap.

Well, the best advantage of AMBA is its location, situated near the Munich Central station connected to the other destinations in Europe. The room size is as expected for budget hotel. The staffs are really kind and you can try asking for small appliances like kettle. And It also has small parking lot.

Receptionist needs training because I had awful experience during check-in, I had made two separate bookings for 2 nights for 2 adults, first with breakfast and second without. Receptionist got herself confused with the second day booking and kept arguing that there is NO breakfast included for both days. She took forever to search the first day booking using my full name instead of just middle name because she was constantly getting confused with other bookings having middle name similar to mine. Also, she had mistakenly assigned me a room already assigned to somebody else since both were double room type bookings she let it go. And finally when she managed to find my first day booking in their system which included breakfast, she did not even say SORRY for doing a poor job. Also, some of them don’t understand or speak English despite being in the hospitality industry for tourists. Breakfast was excellent.

Excellent location for Airport Lufthansa bus, stop just infront the Hotel. Train station is just opposite of the hotel.

Great location just across the street from the train station. The bed was a bit small, but the room was ok.

Very convenient location, less than a minute to the tram, s and u bahn station. Also right across the road to the DB station. So if you are arriving and leaving by train, it's really convenient. 500 metres up the road there is also a beer hall so very convenient for a dinner and a short walk back to the hotel. Amenities are minimal, shampoo and body wash only. Good for simple, no frills travel.

Nice location. the room is small but funtions. the lift is a bit small though.

Great location near Munich main train station. Only 5 min walk to the hotel. Marienplaz only 15 min walk. The room is very basic but there is an airport shuttle outside the hotel ( Lufthansa bus) very convenient. Underground only few step away from hotel too. Great for transfer and short stay.
