Treebo Olive Inn

I couldn’t book anywhere due to non availability because of OTM Mumbai and was looking for a hotel which is closer to the Venue. They have charged good 5k but the doesn’t deserve this much tariff for a small room it was hardly less than 70sqft so congested. I asked for King bed but given twin bed Check in wasn’t pleasant one day prior early check was promised on check in it was denied. Room was dirty hair on bedsheets, pillow and everywhere even in washroom. Stains visible on bedsheets and Pillow was too dirty. Slipper was denied even after asking, Breakfast was limited not actually limited only 2 item Poha and Paw really joke kinda buffet. I asked to get the room clean and linen changed even this time it was more stains really poor Really will not be booking Treebo in my entire life in Future.

We stayed in olive inn twice,once from 25 to 26 Feb and 2nd visit from 1 to 2nd March.I describe this hotel as an Oasis in a desert,surrounded by slums,small businesses.The reason for selecting this hotel is its closeness to the US VISA CENTER.Both the biometric and the consulate.Hotel is in a very crowded area but once you enter it has a nice lobby and cut off from the noise and bustle but you can't stop the traffic noise.Rooms are very neat and clean including the bathroom.There is a very nice restaurant facing the road from where all the food is ordered from.It is basically a non veg restaurant it could be a damper for strict vegetarians.Room has Working Tv and coffee maker.Sheets, beds are clean and comfortable.Hotel is neat and clean.Breakfast is vegetarian and sufficient in their place provided near the lobby but they start at 8 am and start winding up at 10 am.Nonveg food in the restaurant facing the road which seems part of the hotel is delicious. The only jarring note unfortunately was the lady at the reception she was quite rude.I asked for a booking for Ist and 2 nd but she claimed all rooms where full but I booked online thru treebo and got a room.I asked her if she could recommend any other hotel and she suggested sarcastically hotel sofatel which is 5 star hotel.If I had that kind of budget why would I stay in olive inn? I had to pay Rs 900 for a smaller room during my second visit.The hotel must be running full but that is no reason for the receptionist to be rude and sarcastic.

Hi Team, I am reviewing this very late but yes I cant forgot the experience as it was very pathetic. We have booked hotel a hotel very Treebo in advance but they changed to this hotel a day before the visit. We have booked for family but they have provided very small room with individual separate bed. iT was very difficult to rest in the provided rooms. It was close to US consulate and have good staff. Room service was good too. Since there was some painting happening adjacent to my room, it was little uncomfortable. Breakfast has very limited options, that can be improved. Especially for South Indians like me.

Weird smell in the bathroom. No toiletries were provided. No towels were provided and given only one after asking. Hotel staff was nice and polite but you need to call them atleast twice for any request. TV stopped working after 1 day of stay and no solution even after making multiple calls to the staff.

We had initially booked our stay at a hotel nearby Olive Inn through online booking site like ***********. That hotel was called FabExpress Grand Heritage, Kurla West, Mumbai. It was a horrible place to stay and even though we paid for 2 days, we checked out after the first day and moved into Olive Inn nearby. Olive Inn was a breather of fresh air for us. The place was very clean and there were sufficient facilities like 2 beds and chair and table. The bathroom was fairly medium sized and was clean with soaps, towels etc. The lady at check in desk - Komal was very helpful and took care of all our needs. Since we had come for visiting the US consulate, she guided us well on how to get around the place. She made sure that we had extra plates, water and cutlery when we ordered in food through Swiggy. The locality is also better compared to the FabExpress place we stayed, so its good if you are going with family and kids. You also get complimentary breakfast, although the selection is limited. But food is good and served cleanly. My only recommendation for improvement would be - they should provide more towels and clean out the garbage more frequently. But other than these negatives, this is one of the best place to stay if you are new in town and looking for a place to stay while getting your US visa stamped. Also this place has good value for money.
