Trip.com did not disclose under its policy section for the resort that there is a $35.00 per day resort fee and a $2.00 per day destination fee over and above the charges paid to trip.com. Need better information concerning the total amount to be paid. Will probably not use your site to book any further travel.

Check in was not pleasant. There were not any valets or doormen to direct us to check in and we had to figure that out only to interrupt the only person available. She was rude and put out that we arrived and interrupted her private cell phone conversation. No welcome it introduction. I mentioned it was my husbands birthday so she could maybe select the best room available for our rate. No acknowledgment at all of our special occasion. She basically pointed and told us our room was “that way” and we had to figure the rest out. Did not have the view I paid for but a big building obstructing the harbor view advertised for that rate. No explaining of amenities and how to access them or how to get WiF or what dining options were available. However the manager made it right. The rest of our stay was excellent. A very clean well kept property with a pristine pool and poolside service with a very good menu. This will definitely be it go to for a weekend getaway for sunshine relaxation and good food.

We love the beach club and have stayed several times. The views are beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We adored our balcony this stay. However, We have been disappointed lately in the food availability in the resort. To only have 4 menu options for the weekday poolside menu through the summer is very limiting. We also felt that the pool could have been much cleaner and better cared for (there are tiles along the side that are missing). Overall, we love the atmosphere and feel it is a one of a kind place in the Charleston area, but it still missing that service element (i.e luggage assistance) and food element (bring back room service!).

This was a perfect mix of relaxation and being near lots of options for food and entertainment. We’d stay again if in the area.

Our room in Beach Club was absolutely beautiful! King Harbor View- huge and ver clean! Comfortable bed and linens and beautiful bathroom!
Walked over to Harborside building. Didn’t feel as lovely- different vibe
Loved the pool and the grounds! Views fantastic!
Fish House delicious! Would recommend more menu options at Tiki Bar etc for lunch at pool.
Staff terrific! We would definitely return!!

The resort was great, but POOR communication from the front desk about several things in room would have been helpful BEFORE going up. Horrible wifi and an AT&T dead zone.
View was lovely.

One of the nicest resorts we’ve ever stayed in! Everything was too notch. Tip— splurge for the harbor view. You can’t beat it and the “garden view” is overlooking the parking lot :/
