Impressive Playa Granada Golf

The accommodation was very nice and was cleaned daily. The hotel is miles from anywhere so was not really able to go out and about. The shopping centre was quoted at the reception as being 150 euros in a cab each way. The beach was not a beach you could sit on although it was a lovely view from the loungers at the hotel. Very few people ventured into the pools as they were extremely cold and balls, kids inflatables etc are forbidden. The food was passable but must say not the best I’ve had at an all inclusive.

Brilliant hotel, friendly and attentive staff and plenty to do for kids. If you want a quieter break ask for a room further away from the entertainment but it’s not really an issue. The food was excellent and there’s plenty of choice at each mealtime. Overall can recommend highly.

I didn't want to have to write this review, but it has been bothering me ever since I got home. I was physically grabbed and dragged out of my seat and forced out of the seating area at night by their security guard, with no verbal explanation at the time it happened. The experience was very unpleasant, and at the time quite scary, especially as I was a solo traveller. You cannot treat the clientele of a 4 star hotel this way and expect them not to care or let it be known. I had been sat with a group of engineers I'd met, they were drinking cocktails. I stuck to the weak tap beer all evening, and I was quite merry but certainly not 'smashed'. So I remember everything in detail. A couple of nearby girls had joined our conversation, everyone was having fun and a bit of banter, all seemed well. I noticed that one of the girls seemed very 'full of herself', entitled, and kept boasting about her lifestyle. It was hard to have a conversation with the young woman, as she'd speak as though she's better than whoever / whatever etc. Now, I think at one point I 'jokingly' noted how she was coming across, nothing serious, just having a bit of banter, I'm quite extrovert socially. Sometime after that she left the table, and about 5 minutes later this guard came down, grabbed me out of my seat and started dragging me out against my will. So I resist and the drama unfolded. I began filming as I was travelling alone, and didn't know what on earth was going on. The next morning I went to the management, and apparently 'a guest' had said they wanted to call the police and have me removed! Now thank heavens the guard decided not to! This is insanity, but considering the person I have in mind's, big-headed demeanour at the table, I can see what happened, albeit irrational. Anyway, I explained that if there is a problem, you must explain to the guest first, use a translator if needed. And don't just physically assault them and expect them to accept it. I paid a premium to stay at this hotel, and despite it having a slightly sterile atmosphere, the staff were nice. But the entire trip remains a bad memory now because of this incident :(

Nice beds, good value for money because of the facilities. Would not come back though. Worst breakfast I have had in any hotel outside of the US. Literally impossible to find anything at all that tasted reasonably OK. Not real coffee (Nescafe), super dry bread, sugary nectars instead of juices (in a land known for great orange juice)

Great hotel, mainly European guests, very few English which suited us. Immaculately clean everywhere, rooms, bars, pools restaurants. The whole property is incredibly well cared for. Its 4 star rating is well deserved. Friendly staff and enough choice in bars and restaurants to make the all inclusive option worthwhile. Remote location so hire car needed if you want to visit anywhere outside of the resort. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Firstly We left overall very happy with our 4 night stay this week , it’s a long review because I personally feel this hotel could be great and I am bored on my flight home , so had time to give it some thought. It’s ironic the difficult things to change like hotel structure/views/grounds /rooms are already good . It’s the food /drink and entertainment thats lacking. In addition there are not a lot of options near by to use instead if you don’t have a car. My husband found us a good reduction booking directly on the hotel website so we paid for a seafront suite and upgraded to the premier all inclusive . Aim of visit was to relax in the sunshine, as well as use it as a base to visit Granada one day with the option to play golf another as we are both golfers. Weather was kind which definitely helped us enjoy our stay. I emailed the hotel a few weeks before explaining ideally what we would ideally prefer for a room and was very pleased we got this. The complex is big , many balconies had only morning or afternoon sun and some seemed a fair trek from the limited amenities. Although not first row of buildings at the sea front and we paid seafront ( was second row ) we were still very happy with our room. 3205 so thank you who ever thought to give us this room. It suited us very well. 1 small balcony off the separate sitting area had a table and 2 chairs & a very nice clear sea view of the pretty swing / wedding stand , beach area with the other balcony off the bedroom had 2 sun loungers ( very comfy but needed re covering as plastic coating split in places ) It had a-nice view when you stood up - roof tops otherwise but important for me , it had sun from around 10am til sunset - in fact from it we could see 95% of the sun dip into sea , obscured by land at the very last dip. Saw some lovely sunsets . It was overall a very comfortable set of rooms .2 Tvs which had Netflix when on satellite mode. Position Was quiet, could hear the sea on the balconies yet close to their pools/ bar. The Gardens of this hotel are lovely. With plenty of sun beds around all of its 3 good sized pools ( shame 1 not partly heated as they were v cold when you first got in) As others say the beach is small & pebbly but you can access the sea easily enough ( although goes deep quickly and strong currents possible so not child friendly) There are lots of sun-beds and wooden shaded umbrellas in the garden area by the sea edge Allowing lovely views , with its loud wave sounds , making it a very nice area to be. On the Sunday when we arrived and the kiosks drink hut was open, this area was great . We overall enjoyed the quality of the buffet food. However we love fish and there were always several fish options for lunch and dinner. . Wine ( red and white and sangria )we felt was ok considering it was “ on tap” , never a great sign. The Rose we didn’t like. The glasses of Cava were pleasant, but not available in the dining room and rare
