Shangri la Mansion

Love everything about this country and it’s people and this beautiful, family run hotel, confirmed all of what I had believed. Nermin and his wife make the guests feel like family. The 12 rooms are very well detailed with everything that could be expected. Breakfast was another delight with the full buffet style feed. A truely amazing place to stay and words in a TripAdvisor review do not do justice to this magical little place.

This well located small property offers nicely furnished, quiet rooms for a quite reasonable rate. The property is at the top of a steep short street only a quick walk to the Mostar bridge and shops. It is set high on the hill with a beautiful view from their common area, rooftop lounge. This area is a great spot to share some wine after dinner and enjoy the city view. Room amenities are very nice and the beds were quite comfortable. Travel upstream a few blocks to Oriental Restaurant for a great picturesque breakfast.

Very close to the Old Town pedestrian area, less than 100 yards probably to the bridge but still off a street you can drive on. Exceptionally nice host. The rooms are like a hotel and very comfortable. There's no refrigerator. Decent looking breakfast for a charge. Though we didn't eat there we had complimentary coffee in the breakfast room and took it out into the courtyard. Very relaxing outdoor courtyard off the breakfast room. Also the full rooftop is a terrace with chairs, tables and lounges and a great view of Old Town. They have a little parking lot. Watch carefully for the alley up to the inn off the main street, it's a little deceptive and just looks like someone's long driveway, and it's steep especially right at the top outside the inn there are a couple of sharp and steep turns to get to the flat parking area. If you stop in front the host will offer to drive your car the rest of the way up the steep pitch into the parking lot. In Mostar be sure to walk past the Old Town tourist shops and stay on the pedestrian street Braće Fejića for shops and cafes where you'll see less tourists.

Loved this hotel. Small, and a little like a bed & breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Great location only a couple of minutes (at most) from the bridge, yet quiet. Very clean. Would definitely recommend.

well, this hotel is just Amazing. the owner is friendly and always available when needed. the hotel is well situated, 10 -15 mins walk to the old town and bridge. Room was nicely decorated, clean bedsheet and soft pillow. very quiet and we had a nice view from our room. But unfortunately the hotel did not provide breakfast during our stay. Totally recommended. #muslimtravellers

Just a few steps from the Mostar Bridge is a peaceful haven. The innkeeper and his wife are so welcoming and helpful. The rooftop terrace is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset or rest between outings. The breakfast had a wide variety of foods. I was amazed to find orange trees, lemon trees, pomegranate trees, fig trees, grapes, and many other plants growing on the breakfast patio. They were so accommodating that we extended our stay. This tranquil atmosphere is only a two minute walk from the steps of the bridge and the bustle of Old Town Mostar. The rooms and public areas were very clean. There is a safe parking lot. If I have the opportunity to return to Mostar, I would definitely return to Shangri-la Mansion.

Stayed here in October 2021 and it is an ideal location for exploring not only Mostar, but in particular the Old Bridge, which is minutes away. Accommodation and hosts are fantastic and I highly recommend staying here. Take the opportunity to look over the city from the rooftop terrace.

Unfortunately we were able to stay for only one night. A dream place as the name suggests, run by nice hosts. The views fron the roof terrace is very nice. Good breakfast. Totally central in the old city. Parking included. Hopefully we will be able to return …
