Our first and short visit to this hotel was enough to say that we must get back. It’s a beautiful, restful and scenic hotel. We were perched in a Swiss chalet, Bern, which had a beautiful view. Food was excellent, as was the service, providing some old fashioned “country hotel” atmosphere.

Very friendly and warm welcome at reception. Owner told us everything about the history of the place. Very interesting! Rooms are very basic but very clean and although it was very cold there was warmth in the room with additional blankets. Huge lounge with fireplace. Supper was also very nice. Breakfast delicious!

This visit was as part of a group of 27. We ordered when we sat down. We were fortunate to have an efficient waiter and our food arrived quite quickly. Others had a bit longer to wait, but there was no rush. It's a lovely setting, and a great drive in our classic cars.

My husband and I spent some happy days enjoying the peaceful surroundings and efficient and friendly service at the Lodge. The Swiss Chalet was comfortable with a lovely view over the green fields with horses in the distance and a spectacular sunrise each day.

We attended the Bowls Academy 6-9 June. We had a great time. Excellent hospitality, great food, stunning setting. Rooms were most comfortable. Loved the underfloor heating! We felt so welcome, nothing was too much effort for the staff!! Owners were always visible and staff treated us like loved family. many thanks!

Staff excellent. Lovely location. Good food. Room 16 - hot water took long to get to this room which led to massive waste of water, shower leaked, close to the road with a lot of noise during the night and the room generally needs proper maintenance. No Wi-Fi access in this room. We realise that we were a large group but still feel that meals took a long to get to the tables. Our mealtime simply to short, bbut this was due to our program.

There are not enough words to describe this beautiful gem in the Robinson Pass. Out of this world tranquility and peace. The nature speaks to one's soul. The service are gold class. The staff are like family, and they do everything to let you feel at home. Food delicious, neat Swiss cabins.Nice fire burning during the winter and you can relax with a book and escape to another world.The gardens are beautifully kept and a pleasure to look at.
