The Moso

We spent a fantastic week at Moso Vanuatu celebrating a friend’s 50th with a group that booked out the entire resort. Our villa was spacious with all the comforts you need with a breezy, island vibe. It’s obvious that our hosts Joel and Antoun just love what they have created in this paradise and the staff, who are the beautiful local people, were so friendly and attentive. If you long to get away from it all, Moso is the resort for you. We can’t recommend highly enough!

What can we say, we went to The Moso for our honeymoon, we were made feel welcome from the minute we got off the plane and into the bus. 45 minutes and then a 10 minute boat ride and wow so beautiful and the staff were wonderful, our first night we stayed in the hilltop lap pool wonderful but what a hill, we are old and by the end walking up there felt even older , next day we moved down to a plunge pool villa, fantastic it was quite and beautiful the bed was so solf and comfortable, and next to the pool which we swam in everyday. We walked over to the other side of the island long walk but so worth it plus uou can hire sooner to take you over if you want but the walk is wonderful, once there wow just eye opening and rhe snorkelling was divine. They made us a packed lunch, wraps fruit and water just delicious and we sat on the beach and enjoyed our day. We went on day tours, fantastic and reception was super helpful and the food was good and the cocktails were great, more things on the menu would be great but apart from that we had the best time we were there for 11 nights and lived ever minute of it. The owner were lovely and super friendly, a big shout out to Andrew who was fantastic, helped me greatly when I hurt my leg and Claudia and Pauline who served us breakfast, lunch and dinner and did a wonderful job, everyone knew our name and we felt safe and like family. I could go on and on, go check it out, peaceful, relaxing and freindly for all, no children which was great. No tv so got to do heaps of reading and other stuff lol. See you again Sam and Di

The Moso was a really amazing vibe! We were so lucky to stay in a brand new beachfront lap pool villa, which was so lovely! We felt so welcomed! All staff were amazing! We really enjoyed day trips around the island, and then chill time hanging out around the resort, like I said, a great vibe from everyone! Food and drinks, best we had in Vanuatu. We definitely plan on returning next year! Thanks everyone for making our holiday so great!!

The Moso was everything we wanted and more! Great location, peaceful and beautiful, great staff and delicious food. The garden villa was beautifully appointed and we loved being able to relax in the lounge room and just chill when we weren't out exploring the island or enjoying a cocktail at the bar. The island itself is beautiful and the snorkelling was amazing. Can't wait to get back there

The Moso is a very special place not just a resort. The small size creates a hugely relaxing feeling of being a welcomed guest. Its villas are very comfortable, all privately set in the beautiful gardens and create a sense of being right away from things. The staff and owners were warm with their smiles, friendship and welcome and obviously had a sense of belonging and love of this environment they had built and are sharing with others. It was lovely to talking to the locals as they wandered from their village to work or to another village. The Moso offered trips and ideas for activities to go on or you can simple relax their in the sea, pool and walk to the other side of the island, or enjoy a spa treatment. The bistro had nice food catering for all tastes and they made beautiful cocktails. We loved our villa with plunge pool and outdoor shower or bath. Great decor and design features in what felt like a beautiful fale without being out of character with this beautiful environment. I was a bit worried about no aircon before coming but the fans were great and the shade and shelter of the villa was lovely. This place really has authenticity. Tips - bring boat shoes and own snorkel gear. Some available but for serious snorkelling bring your own. Plenty of paddle boards and kayaks for all. Would recommend highly as a top stop in Vanuatu - wish we had booked our whole time there, certainly out shone our other accomodations on every count. The owners and local staff have created something really special here! Sometimes you can’t describe it, you just have to go and feel it!

We had a lovely holiday here. The main selling point is Embas beach which is about 30 minutes walk away. The snorkeling there is amazing. The resort is small and pleasant but it is 4 star not luxury. Lack of attention to detail is a shame - missing a bin, flickering bulbs, small damaged things that could be fixed to bring it up to 5 star…

If I could rate higher than 5 star, I would, hands down, incredible resort. The attention to detail in all things hospitality, outstanding. The staff are amazing, its apparent the owners have love and respect for their team. The overall experience was delicious. The spa, I indulged in the full package and time stopped, literally! The food was fresh, heavily local, and so full of flavor, well done. A very good menu covering all food groups ad fabulous shared plates. The bed! Omg, I'm not going to lie, I pulled the sheets back to look for the brand! The best nights sleep ever! I'm dreaming of going back and for a lot longer next time x a girls' trip of pure magic, my cup overflowing. Thank you, Moso, outstanding off grid sustainable paradise.

It was what we hoped for and more. A beautiful spot to relax and unwind, but equally offering the ability to immerse yourself in the beautiful environs. With a coral reef on your doorstep, diving with sea turtles became a common, beautiful theme for our stay. In terms of the hotel and its facilities, they are what you'd expect for a remote, tropical location with the added value of being clean, modern and well-equipped. The staff are friendly and professional, always keen to attend to your every need. As vegans, the kitchen had no problem in adjusting some of their menu to cater for us. You could perhaps make a case that they could add some more variety, but we weren't there for fine dining - we were there for an experience and to relax, and that's exactly what we got. We're definitely going back.

After a 5 minutes boat ride you will arrive at the Moso hotel. A place where you just want to stay forever. The villas are beautiful, the attention is just fantastic. The several space offer for the guest make this property very special. The gastronomy offer is amazingly surprising.
