Apartamentos Igramar MorroJable - Adults Only

We were struggling to find a suitable adults only property and the Igramar had one room left. It was duplex with 1 med sized bedroom and 2 bathrooms, a balcony upstairs and terrace downstairs. The standard style Kitchenette for making simple meals and enough plates and cutlery. The pool area is fairly small but serves its purpose and doesn't need to be bigger as its a small hotel. We had issues with the door on the 2nd to last day and reported it to cleaning staff. It was fixed immediately. Reception and the hotel team were always friendly and helpful. For what most would class as basic this place exceeded my expectations. Spotlessly clean, clean sheets and towels daily. The location is perfect for Morro Jable old town and amazing beach. We have already decided we are booking again next year for 2 weeks.

We had previously stayed in the eastern more touristy part of Morro Jable, but decided to stay in this older more residential part at the western end, where we noticed that there are plenty of bars and restaurants close together on the seafront. The location turned out to be ideal, particularly as this part of Morro Jable is unexpectedly sheltered from the island's strong winds. Given that the wind mostly comes from the north, the mountains to the north of this area provide some shelter, meaning that the beach is often usable without stone circles even when there are strong winds on the large rural beaches to the north-east. The Igramar is in a great location, overlooking many of the bars and restaurants. Parking was easy on most days, either in the dead-end street that runs along the north side of the establishment or sometimes a little further. The first channel on the large television was BBC World in HD quality, which was very welcome. The wifi was around 15Mbps in the room and around 50Mbps in common areas. There are plenty of power sockets in the room, including each side of the beds. Unfortunately the Igramar suffers from a common Spanish problem of two single beds being pushed together instead of a proper double bed. The shower is missing a door and a lip on the shower tray, which allows water to splash or overflow on to the bathroom floor. The fridge was intermittently noisy, and I expected the establishment to install a quieter fridge when there was no door between the bedroom and the kitchen. Igramar promised that “The apartments are designed to offer relax, comfort and privacy to guests” [sic]. On our final night, these features were not delivered whereby the room was uninhabitable because of an adjacent “Jandía Pride” event involving very loud open-air clubbing music until 3am. Because the room was uninhabitable, we lost almost an entire night’s sleep. Although Igramar had no control over the “Jandía Pride” event, Igramar remained liable to deliver the above promised features and it failed in the following ways: 1. Igramar knew, or ought to have known, at the time of booking that it would be unable to deliver the above features on the final night because of an external event, and therefore reasonably should have warned me at the time of booking, but it neglected to do so. 2. Igramar had no staff on site who could organise our move to a quieter room that did not face the source of the noise, and the telephone in the room did not work via which we tried to speak to Igramar staff to request this. So eventually we went outside at 2am and spoke to police who told us about the 3am end time. 3. Igramar failed to implement sufficient sound insultation in the room (17) to make it inhabitable and of satisfactory quality and it thereby failed to deliver the promise that “The apartments are designed to offer relax, comfort and privacy to guests”. Igramar neglected to respond to my subsequent complaint about these three failures, and I the

Holiday in Morro Jable My friend booked this accommodation for us. We were very impressed with the space in the apartment, the outside areas and the staff. We were lucky enough to be facing the beach.

We had one of the large apartments, the apartment was very clean and obviously well kept. The pool area is great, I can recommend the apartment. If there was one disappointing point, it’s the view of the back of the restaurants, not noisy, yiu can just see the sea.there is a Spar supermarket near.by. Worth a visit

Ich habe im Januar 2024 unmittelbar ein Duplex Apartment für den Zeitraum 24.1.25 – 4.2.25 bei Igramar gebucht. Dabei war lt. Buchungsbestätigung des Hotels eine kostenfreie Stornierung bis 10.1.25 vereinbart. Obwohl ich rechtzeitig im Juni 2024 per E-Mail storniert hatte, wurde ein Betrag in Höhe von 1291,16 EUR ohne Ankündigung von meinem Konto abgebucht. Ich hätte auf der Homepage stornieren sollen (was nicht vereinbart war), E-Mails würden nicht berücksichtigt. Mein Versuch, eine gütliche Regelung herbeizuführen, wurde durch den Abbruch der Kommunikation durch Igramar beendet. Nach alledem kann ich das Hotel nicht empfehlen.

Nach wie vor sehr schöne Anlage mit perfekter Nähe zu Meer und Lokalen, aber die Mängel werden größer. Das Problem mit dem Wasserdruck und allgemein der Wasserversorgung in den Apartments wurde noch immer nicht gelöst. Ein Apartment hatte sogar Schimmelbefall nach einem Wasserschaden.Jährlich neue Damen in der Rezeption. Seit mehr als zehn Jahren Stammgast, kann man sich, auch wenn man ein Dreivierteljahr vorher bucht, sein Apartment nicht mehr aussuchen. Falls man kochen will, ist die Ausstattung der Küche mangelhaft. Auf emails vor der Anreise wird nicht oder nur mit Floskeln geantwortet, schade um das schlechte Management.
