This isn’t just a great hotel. It is a state of mind. What makes Sur La Mer such an absolute delight, a one of a kind experience? Is it the beautiful energy of Nayan, Rajoo and Arjun (Ari), the owners and their son, who make you feel so special and looked after, with attention, humour and a genuine warmth? I cannot begin to define what the magic of this place is, but I know it has stolen my heart. I’m told by Nayan that the same guests come back again and again and I’m not surprised! This place is beyond special. There isn’t another hotel like it in Goa - or dare I say on the planet! Till we meet again, Sur La Mer…

Stayed at this wonderful hotel last year for 9 days whilst attending a wedding. Accomodation and open spaces were well appointed and kept in good decorative order , scrupously clean. The Sur La Mer serves excellent food with attentive staff. What sets this hotel above others is the staff, my thanks to all of the team, those who we met during our stay to those behind the scenes - gardeners, housekeeping,chefs, kitchen porters for all their hard work. To succeed everyone must play their part.Special thanks to Dev at Guest Services Manager for his hospitality, this gentleman sets a fine example for all staff to follow. The Sul LA Mer Resort truly deserved it's five star status.

The best place in a whole Goa !!! I really liked it . Very calm and beautiful with the biggest clean swimming pool in all of Goa, great cuisine, very kind and cool owner. We will definitely come back here with the whole family again. the restaurant has the most delicious food in all of india

We were on holiday at the hotel with the whole family. My husband and two children, the children did not get out of the pool, my husband went to the beach. And I enjoyed the peace and privacy and the wonderful atmosphere of the hotel, which allows you to relax and get the most out of your holiday. I must express special gratitude to the cooks of this hotel, the cuisine was simply magnificent every day. We tried new dishes and one was better than the other, I have not tried such delicious cuisine in India anywhere.

We spent a sublime weekend at Sur La Mer, soaking in the warmth and hospitality of the hotel. The rooms are large and a perfect refuge for an afternoon nap with and the central setting of the pool, makes spending the day outside feel very lively and communal. The owner of the hotel takes personal care and attention to see that the guests are having a great time and we had a wonderful time hearing his stories. He was also kind enough to open out a room we had not booked for the children to play with, during the hot afternoon hours. I will be going back many a time to recreate the memories we made here. And strongly recommend this hotel, both for itself and its great location .

From the moment I stepped into Sur La Mer in Morjim, Goa, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere exuded a sense of peace and tranquility, but it was the incredible warmth of the staff that truly took my breath away. Mr. Aneel and Ms. Nayan, the owners, made me feel like I was part of their family. Their genuine kindness and attentiveness were felt in every corner of the hotel. The heartfelt conversations over drinks were particularly special. It's rare to feel this welcomed, and it made my stay feel incredibly personal. The food there is incredible. Every bite was a revelation. The steak was simply divine, cooked to perfection with just the right seasoning, and the Brazilian fish was an absolute standout. The flavors were so fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. Pro tip - ask Mr aneel for suggestions!. The food was nothing short of extraordinary, and I found myself eagerly anticipating every meal. The vibe at Sur La Mer is something special, too. Jazzy music played softly in the background, creating the perfect soundtrack for a laid-back yet refined atmosphere. The surroundings were so calming and peaceful — it’s the kind of place that feels like a secret escape from the hustle and bustle of life. It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway where relaxation and rejuvenation were front and center. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. Whether you’re looking for a tranquil retreat or a culinary adventure, Sur La Mer offers it all. I’m already planning my next visit — I truly can’t wait to return!
