It was...fine? No stand-out problems; the room was just pretty musty when we got in, and there looked to be quite a bit of mold on the ceiling, and the shower didn't drain well. But for the price, it was pretty good.

We loved this place! So close to the beach and we enjoyed the city view terrace! Staff was friendly and helped us research and book our next stay in Punta del Este. The other hotel guests also seemed kind and helpful and were clearly regulars when they visited Montevideo. The kitchen area was appropriately stocked for us to use. When we returned to Montevideo and stayed in another area of the city, we remarked regularly that we missed "the old place". Highly recommend!

These are great little apartments in the Pocitos neighborhood. Nice decks in most of the rooms that allow you to sit and enjoy this pretty neighborhood. Very close to the beach and the Rambla. Decent restaurants nearby and many beautiful trees.

The room had a very weird and bad smell throughout our stay (the whole floor did). The service was mostly in Spanish and not super friendly. They gave us two keys, but later when we had issues with the key they explained that only one of the keys work, so not great for a group of three, as one of us came in alone with a key that didn't work. Location was nice if you want to go to the beach.

Suites 27 is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Montevideo. The Hotel is located near Pocitos Beach and Punta Carretas shopping mall. It’s very easy to take local buses, especially de 116, which will take you to the Old City (Ciudad Vieja) and Teatro Solís. The staff very friendly and helpful when asking for directions or places to visit. The room was big and had a small kitchen equipped with plates, mugs, utensils, toaster and kettle. There is a small convenience store just beside the hotel where you can get bread, fruits, milk, etc. You can walk to las Ramblas during the day and night.

Great location and whithin walking distance to restaurants and buses. A short block from the beach and the beautiful Rambla.

The room was impecable. A king bed, with a small single bed as well, a good sized bathroom, and large windows. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel has an excellent location less than 100 m from La Rambla near the heart of Pocitos. My only complaints are that my side of the bed was hard (😢) and that the shower tended to leak a bit into the washroom because of its height. I will definitely come back.

Clean, very helpful staff, excellent location near Playa de los Pocitos, and in easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The shower was great with plenty of hot water, & lots of room in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable, temperature in the room fine, good AC. This hotel was exactly as described, not a luxury hotel, but not deficient in any way, and given the location, the price was better than excellent. The elevator was a bit small, but it is a small hotel. Communication with the hotel in advance of our arrival was good.
