We stayed four nights the first week of April. We found this guest house to be an excellent location, very clean. We actually picked it for the free parking. Our hosts, Claudio and Maddalena, were extremely gracious and helpful. Claudio met us on arrival and helped us carry our bags up to three flights of stairs to the room. Very quiet location, no train noise. But still within easy walking distance of the trains, boats, and restaurants. I went out to look for coffee at 7:00am. and Claudio was there ready to prepare and bring to our room. Each morning when I went out there, he was ready with our coffee to be made and brought to our room. The breakfast also was very nice and well prepared. Sitting on the beautiful patio for breakfast was very nice.

We had a warm welcome from Claudio after a busy day travelling. We booked directly with the B&B and had absolutely no trouble with communication between ourselves and Claudio and Maddalena The B&B is a 10 min walk from the railway station in the newer part of Monterosso, this suited us perfectly as we could easily walk to the old town for the hustle and bustle but could then retreat to the quieter area. The B&B is on the third floor, Claudio helped us with our bags on arrival and departure but there is no lift so maybe not be suitable to the less able as there are three flights of stairs to climb. Our room was perfect, spotlessly clean with a large balcony and partial sea view with a lovely en-suite bathroom. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room as is often the case in Italy. As others have said, breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, cereals, cheeses meats and pastries and cakes. We were made to feel very welcome, Claudio and Maddalena were perfect hosts.

Beautiful, clean, and modern B&B. The owners, Claudio and his wife Maddalena, personally attend to everything! Breakfast every morning is delicious. But warning you must walk up a small inclined street and go up 3 flights . Claudio helped us with our bags so it was fine. Well worth it!
