Borgo Gallinaio

We had a wonderful stay at Gallinaio this weekend. The setting is idyllic, off the beaten track and in the most beautiful surroundings of olive trees and nature. Our rooms were lovely and comfortable and we enjoyed using the pool very much. The staff were lovely, going to a lot of help and organising a mechanic when we had car trouble- thank you so much! We loved eating at the restaurant which served authentic, local and seasonal food- all of it 5 star and some of the very best food we’ve eaten in Italy with daily specials alongside their menu. The restaurant is laid out in the beautiful courtyard at the property and coming down to dinner felt a huge treat every evening. Suda who worked in the restaurant and bar was delightful and worked very hard to keep everyone happy. I really can’t imagine a better place to stay in Tuscany. We hope to return very soon! In the meantime we cannot wait to enjoy the olive oil produced by the borgo!

Certainement un bel endroit....MAIS,une gestion des réservations peu fiable et peu rigoureuse !!jugez en : munis d'une réservation ( ancienne de 3 mois) validée par l'hôtel lui même et la centrale Booking , nous nous sommes vus refoulés sans avoir été prévenus !,,,Légèreté ?.Mepris ?

Wir hatten uns dieses Mal eine Unterkunft im Landesinneren gesucht und mit diese Pension genau ins Schwarze getroffen. Wer richtig zur Ruhe kommen möchte mit dem ganzen Flair der Toskana, ist hier genau richtig. Herrlich idyllisch gelegen, super gepflegte Anlage und saubere Zimmer . Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Frühstück ist super und am Abend ist das Restaurant sehr einladend. Wir sind sehr froh, das wir diesen Fleck Erde kennenlernen durften
