Relais CastelBigozzi

Wstayed at Castel Bigozzi for two nights and absolutely loved everything about it. The place is spotless, relaxing, and surrounded by stunning nature and greenery. The hospitality and service were exceptional — everyone was kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant was simply fantastic, offering perfectly cooked food and breathtaking views of the Tuscan vineyards. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Tuscany. From here, you can easily visit beautiful places like Siena, Florence, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, and even the Chianti Antinori winery, a true gem in the region. All of these destinations are only 30–45 minutes away by car. I highly recommend renting a car to explore the picturesque Tuscan countryside, full of rolling hills and charming landscapes. Tuscany is a magical experience on its own — and adding Castel Bigozzi makes it truly unforgettable. Super recommended!

Beautiful place in a beautiful peaceful location, the surrounding landscape is idyllic. The pool area is lovely and quiet and you can have drinks brought to you from the bar. The staff are lovely and are there when you need them but let you get on with it. The young girl (sorry didn’t take her name) is lovely and really helpful. The breakfast choices are great and the dinner menu is exceptional. What an amazing place we loved it. Watch out for the European Bee Eater birds and fire flies. We stayed in room 19 which has a little balcony and pool view so I would ask for that room if you can. You don’t need towels for the pool area they are included and there are plenty of toiletries in the bathroom including toothbrushes and toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner which is enough for a few days. You can walk to Monteriggioni from here and also up to the mountain nearby amongst other places. It’s a perfect base for visiting Siena and Florence. Go to Col De Val D’Elsa if can and also Volterra.

I loved everything about this stay. We were a small group of friends within a larger travel group. Staying at this hotel was one of the highlights of my trip because we felt like we were staying at a private Villa. The rooms were quaint and comfortable. Massimo and his family and staff were so kind and accommodating and really made our stay special. We had several meals at the hotel and I tried a lot of the things on the menu and everything was perfection. The best quality food on the whole trip. Everything was impeccable I would definitely stay here again. It’s a great place for girl’s trips, family vacations, and destination weddings.
