Great location, clean room, very comfortable

Checking in was a disaster. I was told my name was spelled wrong on the reservation (he was looking at someone else’s reservation). He also tried to tell me my address was wrong. Well, guess what? When he got the correct reservation my name and address were correct. Yes, I gave him my Driver’s License with my name and address clearly printed on it. I am still shaking my head. The property is clean and quiet and is reasonably priced.

I just want to thank everyone at the property for making our stay so nice. Super friendly staff. Room was clean and so nice. Something you never see that they have is the ability to pause, fast forward and rewind what your watching on the TV!! You never get that anywhere else. Thank you all so much!!

Close to Carmel/Monterey but far enough to enjoy the beach @ a reasonable price. HWY is busy but inside the room, relatively quiet. Large spacious room, very clean & modern.

Gentleman who checked us was very nice. Once we dropped our bags off in our room, we returned to the lobby to hang out and have coffee. Don’t miss on the coffee! Room was very clean (think you’re the first person to stay in a room that’s just finished with construction, room). Sparse in décor but we don’t come here to stare at the walls. The bed had a wonderful topper, couldn’t tell if it was down or alternative. Mattress was on the firm side, so the combination was magic. The location seems new, all but two storefronts were empty. One is a marine mammal conservancy; the other a cookie & ice cream shop. Don’t miss either! Stayed during a spring storm, the frogs incredibly LOUD. Neither of us heard them while indoors. Was a cool experience. All the staff we met during our time there were a happy, treated us as friends

It was very clean and there was several restaurants and a store within walking distance.

Needed a place to stay between Monterey and Santa Cruz. this little hotel came up and the reviews all said the same thing. Looks basic but is very nice inside. I arrived at night and it looks basic and not very well lit, as described. after taking a little walk I found the lobby (in the middle of the buildings) you cant see the lobby from the parking area. Went to the room and found it to be clean, spacious and comfortable. It is also a 1 minute drive to the beach. Would stay again.

This is a great little hotel! We chose it because of the location, and we were really impressed with how comfortable, clean, new, and quiet it was. We also appreciated the text message about check in & the local restaurants, and the free coffee (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos!) In the lobby was really cool!

Other than our room being right next to the highway and us needing to buy earplugs the stay was great. The room was clean and the amenities were amazing.
