Residenza Fabroni

No logramos contactar con nadia antes de llegar, ni por mail ni por teléfono, por lo cual fue complicado y estresante estacionar el auto. En la aplicación trip la information de referencia no era la correcta por lo que intentamos con los números que están en la web del lugar.. La residencia esta en la parte de acceso vedado y en subida. Algo a tener en cuenta también es que hay que subir varias escaleras en el edificio. La vista de la habitación es hermosa y el desayuno lo brindan en un cafe cercano precioso.

The room was very nice. The parking was a bit difficult to find at first, but the staff did a wonderful job providing directions for us. The panoramic view on the rooftop was beautiful. Overall, a very pleasant and quaint place to stay in Montepulciano.

This property was incredible. We stayed in Suite Rosas and the view of the town as well as the rolling Tuscan hills was idealistic. To top it off there was an amazing rooftop with unobstructed views. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful and unique residence within the walled city. One of the most wonderfully historic stays I have experienced anywhere in the world! You must carry your luggage from the car park and up 3 flights of stairs, if you can do this you MUST stay here! Make sure to treat this historical residence with care, it is like staying in a museum!

Beautiful view from our room and above terrace was the highlight. We felt a total lack of communication with the hosts as they weren’t on property. The only person we really had contact with didn’t speak English. The hosts were friendly when we checked in, but never really checked on us to see if we needed anything.

Gorgeous property that was like a movie set! Everything was super clean and comfortable and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. This is a special property in a stunningly beautiful town. Cannot wait to return!

We have stayed at Residenza Fabroni before. This house is awesome. It gives you the feeling of living in another time where things move a bit more slowly and life can be enjoyed and savored. It is in a wonderful location. Things are clean and comfortable. Any time we are in Montepulciano, we will stay at Residenza Fabroni.

Stayed for a couple nights in the Rossa Suite. This is lovely guesthouse, with our Suite being on the top floor of the building having stunning view of the countryside and other buildings in Montepulciano. Rossa suite was large with plenty of space. What I really liked was the communication from the owners. The day before I received a whatsapp message asking when we will be arriving and giving us general directions to the hotel. During the stay they would also message you to make sure everything was OK. Other points to note: - Location is about 100m from the bottom of the hill where the main entrance of the old town is. - The hotel is on the top floor, so you need to walk up 3 flights of stairs to reach. The Rossa suite is up another very narrow staircase. We were travelling with 2 large suitcases. It was OK for us but it is worth noting for anyone who may have issues with this. - Our suite did have an aircon unit but didn't seem to be working as the control on the wall did not operate it. When we were staying in June the temp was generally cool, but i imagine it could be an issue in the heat of summer. We did not ask if there is a separate remote control for the aircon unit. - There is a nice rooftop balcony that is available for all guests. Good views and there a chairs if you fancy a late afternoon drink. - Small kitchen area on the main floor. - Breakfast was at a cafe about 100m from the hotel. Its a nice historic cafe. The standard breakfast is just drinks and pastries. Through the hotel we paid an extra 3 euro each to include a hot option that was basically eggs and piece of bacon. - There are plenty of places for lunch in town but they do get busy with large tour groups and day trippers. If you are having dinner we strongly recommend booking in advance as not all places are open in the evening, particularly on Mondays as we found to our peril!

Beautiful spacious room with excellent views and lovely rooftop terrace! Wonderful welcome but no free welcome drink - weren’t aware of the offer and also no wine tasting on site.
