Precise Tale Poggio Alla Sala

We were amazed as soon as we got to the accomodation as we were warmly welcomed by front desk staff and we really enjoyed her thoughtful tour, background on the property and travel suggestions we got upon arrival. They also helped us take our luggage from the car to room and placed very neatly on our room too. We were also amazed at our room and very grateful. The view from our room was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. Amenities like steamer, comfortable sofa and fridge was stylish. The property was also beautiful and aesthetic and smelt great! Breakfast also very aesthetic, filling and healthy. The spa, sauna and steam room was also very clean and classy. They had a water station and nice change room area. The staff at this property was so thoughtful, welcoming and kind. Our whole experience was beyond our expectations.

Stay away.. it is a tourist trap. The quality of food in the restaurant is the lowest possible. Cheap box pasta, not Arborio rice (risotto). It is barely a 2 star service. Our server messed up our order so we had to wait over 45 minutes for first course. In that time, they never refilled the wine or water. We had to do everything ourselves. The main course were mediocre at best. We ate it because we were so hungry at that point (almost 2 hours ) This was our third stop in our Tuscany trip and definitely the worst. Hotel is beautiful and hotel staff are lovely but the restaurant is a total mess. Definitely for tourists. We’ve been coming to Tuscany for my birthday for 15 years and this was the worst food we’ve had in Tuscany/ Florence. They ruined my birthday dinner which I’m very upset about.

Nestled amidst the rolling hills of Tuscany, Precise Tale Poggio Alla Sala offers an enchanting escape for couples seeking a romantic getaway. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were captivated by the hotel's timeless elegance and all-around warm hospitality. From the front desk, to the dining staff at La Via Della Seta and terrace, even the nightly turndown service with the Tuscan tale, simply excellent, excellent , excellent service. We will most definitely stay here the next time we visit!

We had such an amazing stay! First of all, the beauty of the place is unmatched, both the views and the design of the hotel were magnificent. The staff were so friendly and helpful, cared for us truly. The food was great, the restaurant served big delicious meals. We definitely hope to come back next time we visit Tuscany!

Really beautiful hotel up in the hills. There are many parts to the property, including 3 pools, which makes it an experience in and of itself. Very clean and well designed rooms. Restaurant served up pretty good food as well and is a delightful place for dinner and breakfast. Your room view is very dependent on capacity of course - we got an attic room so to speak, but it was private and cozy in its own way. Would not recommend the spa as of now but keen to see how they improve the spa facility and service down the line. Definitely worth staying for a few nights to properly enjoy the facilities!
