Not at all as advertised, I stayed one night when I booked three. I was terrified the entire night and slept 0 minutes that evening. I felt unsafe and it was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had.

The clerk who checked us in had filthy hands and fingernails. The room seemed clean. The bathroom would be better if some time was given to replacing the dirty, sloppy caulking. The motel is located on the edge of town and our safety seemed questionable. We slept well and all went well but we did not want to get breakfast after seeing the dirty hands of the clerk.

The front desk employee was curteous and let me check in early. Except the room was disgusting. The sink had some gross stuff splattered all over it. She was apologetic and gave Mae another room. That one was a little better but I found someone’s hair on the shower wall the next morning when I tried to take a shower. I was anxious about staying there one night. Luckily nothing worse was discovered. The rooms need a deep clean. I was stranded due to the snowstorm and. Had to stay in Del Norte an extra night. I had read prior reviews that complained about the cleanliness issues and a lot of those go back, so this is not a new issue. The managers response to those was there would be a meeting with the staff. Apparently, the meetings did nothing to address this. The front desk said the cleaning lady was in a rush well how do you walk out cleaning on gross sink like that I have no clue. Also, the water in the sink was never warm. The room is worth barely half of what I paid. Just because it is on a cheaper scale does not mean I would compromise cleanliness again. There are cheaper places that are very clean. Not this hotel I would not stay there again. Asked for a partial refund and it was refused.

For a property built in the 1950's this isn't a bad place to stay. From the outside it looks a little run down but our room was relatively clean and modern. However, I booked our reservation for a King size room via ******* and noted that we were traveling with 2 pets. When we arrived and notified the front desk that I did have 2 dogs with us, I was told that we couldn't have a King size room with pets. The front desk attendant was very accommodating and was able to give us a Queen size room in the annex. This would have been nice to be aware of in advance as I would have been able to look at other properties that would have allowed our pets in a King size room. When we arrived at our room in the annex (a building removed from the main property) we had some difficulty closing and locking the door. In order to get it to lock we had to lean on it and jiggle the lock. The room appeared to be cozy and clean, EXCEPT when entering the bathroom there were 2 USED towels hanging on the back of the door. There were still towels to use and the bed clearly had fresh sheets so we did not mention either issue until we checked out. Other than the above mentioned issues our stay was pleasant. The coffee available in the lobby was decent and the staff was very friendly. There was plenty of room to walk our dogs although beware of stickers in their paws. (High desert issues) It would have been nice since it is a "pet friendly" property to have some poop bags available (we forgot ours)

Staff was very helpful in checking me in early, to a room choice I wasn't able to specify through *******. Room was clean and bed/pillows were nice. Tub was a bit slow to drain, but usable for short showers. New LED sign out front was obnoxiously bright, leaking in around the blackout curtains; animated content had sudden brightness shifts, leading to flashing effect against nighttime walls and ceiling. A more thoughtful after dark program of lower brightness and more even intensity would be a welcome change.

Arrived late. Staff was great. Room was comfortable. Cant wait to come back for a movie!

linens on beds were dirty. visibly had not been changed from previous guest. towels although washed were visibly old with spots on them. Old urine droplets noted on toilet seat, sticky seat.

Would stay here again. Full breakfast was good and hearty. Very friendly staff.

This was my second time at Movie Manor. It's a fun gimmick, having the drive-in theater viewable from the room, but the screen is pretty far away so you're not getting a real drive-in experience or anything. I love the layout of the room, though, with the beds in the back and the sink/toilet/shower in the entrance portion. The view of the mountains in the morning is great, too.

Great room apparently remodeled recently. Tub is plumbed backward with hot on right. Hot water is excessively hot.

We have enjoyed staying at your BW. We stayed there 10 yrs ago and was glad to have a great experience again. We would suggest some newer softer towels.

This is an older style motel with a drive-in movie theater. We really enjoyed the movie. The staff was friendly and helpful. The motel needs new carpet and updating. The wash clothes were not clean and the towels were clean but stained. I would suggest they be replaces with new ones.

I really enjoyed staying at the Movie Manor. The facility itself was very nice and service was great. My only problem was, the movie screen was pretty far away and couldn't read the subtitles of the movie. Most of the dialogue was in Italian and the screen was pretty dark. I'd stay again but would drive into the grounds instead of staying in my room.

The best part of the stay was being able to watch the drive in movie from your room. It is an older hotel though and the walls are very thin. We could hear our neighbors quite easily just talking in their normal voices.
