Great location and nice hotel. We did find some dead bugs in the room but the rest of the amenities and room was pretty clean. Staff were friendly and the swimming pool was nice!

The hotel is very large but almost completely without character. We are used to staying at a German hotel about 2/3 of the price and about four times better and more interesting. This was more of an up-scale hostel. Reception took ages to process our booking and the one before us. Looks like the hotel is designed for coach parties who want something spartan, anonymous and forgettable. Probably also to eat in town. There is a suggested menu in reception, but when I went to the restaurant just after 8pm there was absolutely no one. I went to have a look at the pool/sauna and met two ladies trying fruitlessly to get in by using their room key. We all gave up. Breakfast is OK, but basic. Rather overpriced for what it is. Just on the outside of town but an easy walk into the centre. Michel needs to get together with his friends and make the hotel more characterful. Definitely not four stars. 2.5?

We spent 2 nights here in Nov 2021 ... the rooms are an exact copy and paste of your standard boring hotel room that you find everywhere in the US, apart from the fact that you could actually open the window properly. No shower, only a bath tub with shower ... not very European. Dinner on first evening was very meagre .. it looked like they had almost run out of food and were trying to share the little food that they had between the guests. Second evening was OK but certainly not memorable. Staff seemed very worried about making a mistake and quite nervous. They were however helpfull when we needed to get our wet clothed tried ... they organized a tumble drier for us. Breakfast OK Room for bikes easy to access with rail for E-Bikes. For the price just about OK ... would not like to be then in the busy season. Will not be back .. sorry

Enttäuschend. Kein 4* Standard. Kein Safe, -Minibar und -Bademantel im Zimmer vorhanden. Defekte im Bad. Umschaltung auf den Brausekopf und Toilettenpapierhalter defekt. Unmöglicher Service in der Bar. Frühstücksumfang war bescheiden. Positiv anzumerken ist, dass das Team im Frühstücksraum aufmerksam war und im Rahmen der Möglichkeiten unsere Wünsche erfüllten. Des Weiteren haben wir noch nie erlebt, dass die Zimmerrate vorab bezahlt werden musste. Bei unserer Abreise wurden wir nichtmal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung war. Peinlich für ein Haus dieser Kategorie.

Das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Aufzug ist wohl noch länger defekt, was für uns in der 5. Etage aber kein Problem war. Wenn wir 10 km Berg auf und ab wandern an einem Tag, können wir auch Treppen laufen. ;-) Eine Minibar im Zimmer wäre toll gewesen. Hier und da gibt es Kleinigkeiten, die Reparaturbedürftig sind, aber keine Funktion einschränken. Der Pool und die Sauna sind schön. Das Personal war durchweg sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und gefühlt jeder Angestellte wusste, dass ich Geburtstag habe und hat mir gratuliert. Was ich als schöne Aufmerksamkeit empfunden habe. Sogar der Frühstückstisch war für uns reserviert und zum Geburtstag dekoriert.

Duitse degelijkheid. Ligt aan het begin van het centrum van Monschau. Op loopafstand. Nette kamer, inrichting wat ouderwets maar prima. Goede bedden en nette badkamer. Ontbijt goed verzorgd, ruime tijden waarop ontbeten kan worden. Parkeren bij het hotel kost €9 per dag.

Das Hotel ist in Jahre gekommen und man sieht an vielen Stellen im Hotel und in den Zimmern das einiges getan werden muss Die Klimaanlage ist nicht in Funktion Die Bar ist nicht mehr gemütlich so wie vor drei Jahren Personell unterbesetzt aber sehr bemüht Fußweg zur Altstadt min. 15 min Und beschwerlich für ältere Personen

Bon rapport qualité-prix pour cet hôtel bien situé à l'entrée du village de Montjoie. Le personnel est agréable, le confort essentiel et une belle piscine avec un sauna. Le petit déjeuner était très bien aussi. Pour le prix (100€/nuit avec spa et petit déjeuner) c'est très bien.

Aangenaam verblijf. Rust in het hotel/de hotelkamers, je hoort de buren niet. Byiten weinig verkeer savonds. Mogelijkheid om gratis gebruik te maken van de sauna en het zwembad met ruime openingstijden. Net buiten het centrum, op 5 min lopen.

Surprise en arrivant le lit bébé pas installé dans la chambre alors que la réception me l avait garanti , presque une heure d attente pour l avoir …. Sympa pour installer les affaires sans pouvoir poser bébé en sécurité quelque part …. De plus , pas de matelas pour le lit bébé donc il a plié une couette ! Bravo la sécurité !!!!!! Un seul ascenseur pour les 6 étages , l attente peut donc être longue , le matin en descendant , la femme de ménage avait mis son chariot juste devant les portes , je ne pouvais pas sortir de l ascenseur et elle a eu le culot de souffler car elle a dû le bouger !!!!! Le petit déjeuner était vraiment pas bon pas de machine à café mais des Thermos posés sur les tables ( retour dans les années 60 bonjour ! ) ! Le repas du soir était passable …. La propreté par contre est vraiment top dans cet hôtel ! Les chambres sont petites et très cloisonnées , la clim ne fonctionne pas très bien , aucun produit dans la salle de bain Pas de mini bar , pas de bouilloire ….. Aucun personnel présent la nuit , et aucun accès au micro onde pensez donc à prendre le chauffe biberon si besoin dans la nuit … Pour un 4 étoile nous sommes déçus Le seul point positif avec la propreté est la piscine propre et agréable Je pense que cette chaîne devrait vraiment faire un effort pour vivre avec son temps !!!
