A lovely hotel in a very charming little town. We stayed in apartment 5, on the top floor. There was 4 of us and this had plenty of space for us all to spread out. The views from the windows were absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook meals and a lovely fridge & dishwasher too. Large bathroom with bath and separate shower. There is a small dining table too. This was great for our group as it meant we could gather together for meals, but also we had our own space to go and relax alone too (ideal as we were on a 10 day trip through Belgium and Germany so, much as we like each other, it is nice to have that space as opposed to all sharing one room! particularly as 2 are easy risers and 2 like to sleep in}. There is a car park less than 5 mins walk from the hotel, which has 2 electric chargers if you need that too. The whole town feels very safe. It tens to open up around 10am, with plenty of lovely coffee and cake places etc and everything seems to close around 9.30 to 10pm, as is usual in small towns. I cannot tell you how pretty it all is! Everyone seemed really friendly. I recommend the little cafe across the street for coffee /cakes too! Delicious! Very well priced as well. Check in is in the restaurant downstairs. We didn't ever get time to eat there but it all smelled delicious! We didn't get the names of the young man and woman (maybe aged around early 20s) who helped us check in on our arrival night but they were so kind and lovely. Be aware that this is a very old town so the buildings are quaint and old too - so watch your head! Ha ha! Very low ceiling on the staircase but once inside the apartment it is fine!
