Sleep Inn & Suites Clarion, PA Near I-80

Room very clean and nicely decorated. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking was good. Only negative is the driveway to get in had a big dip.

The hotel management recently changed and some nice updates were made. The staff is kind and helpful, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is satisfying. If you’re traveling on a budget, this hotel delivers!

The customer service was exceptional! We were greeted with a smile and an offer to help us to our room. In the morning, he made sure we took something to eat. We would definitely go back.

Be sure that housekeeping knows your checkout time so they don’t enter while you are dressing.

Bedding was clean but the floors hadn't been swept in a while. Because there was no carpeting in the rooms you could hear every step taken in the room above and the rolling luggage was super loud. Breakfast was adequate.

For the most part the room was clean - except for the floors. The floors looked like they had not been swept or mopped in a while. There was dirt and things stuck to the floor. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. At checkout I was asked if I had any comments. I mentioned the floors. The cleaning lady was right there and said "Oh, I planned on getting to that today." Shouldn't floors be swept and mopped every time a room is cleaned for the next guest??? This is also not a very quiet place. It is right next to I-80 which is convenient but you can here the traffic on 80. At one point I checked the window to see if it was open. Also there was someone in the room above me and it sounded like an elephant stomping around. Also, while staying here someone tried to come in my room. Thankfully I had taken steps to secure the door. I am not sure who it was. When I looked through the peep hole no one was there. The breakfast was a decent breakfast with pastries, bagels, yogurt, waffles, etc. On a whole the hotel was fine. I just needed a place to stay for the night and this place met that need.
