Hotel Monodendri

My family and I stayed in this hotel in August 2023. We were greeted by the friendly owners and showed to our lovely room (#12) overlooking the mountains. Our breakfast on the terrace was good. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

The owner made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in the door. He and his wife run a very clean and well maintained small hotel. Breakfasts were cooked to perfection and had many options to choose from. It was a lovely visit and we look forward to staying there again when next in the area.

What a great hotel! The host is extremely helpful and makes you really feel safe and at home. The room was very clean. Nice breakfast and uppon request we also got a lunch pack for our hike trough the Vikos Gorge. Although the hotel does not have private parking space, don't worry! There is more than enough public parking! We could park right in front of the hotel.

We stayed two nights in this hotel when we went hiking in the Vikos Canyon last July. The two grey stone houses are built in the local style. The room and the bathroom were spacious and had a balcony with beautiful views of the village and the mountains. Breakfast was excellent; the staff made us delicious omelette and grilled cheese sandwiches, and they served early for us on the day we departed. Our host was very friendly and helpful, giving us hiking tips and accommodating our other needs. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful hotel which is situated in the beautiful village of Monodendri, a perfect location for exploring the Vikos Gorge. The scenery is stunning and there are many rooms which offer a view over the mountains. The rooms are spacious clean tidy and Ideal for providing the rest needed before starting your day's walking in the Vikos gorge . Our stay included an ample breakfast, just what you need before the days hike. With the service outstanding the hotel is just the perfect stay needed to explore this wonderful part of Greece. The owner has extensive knowledge and a charming way that describes the area perfectly, I would certainly recommend you stay here and discover the joys yourself.

Το δωμάτιο είχε εξαιρετική διακόσμηση. Είχε άνεση χώρου και ένα καταπληκτικό μπαλκόνι με θέα στην εκκλησία. Το πρωινό με τοπικά προϊόντα. Η φιλοξενία των υπευθύνων μας έκανε να νιώσουμε σαν το σπίτι μας. Τέλος, συμβουλεύω να κάνετε χρήση του εστιατορίου. Ωραίες γεύσεις, προσεγμένο service.

Traditioneel hotel ,mooi gelegen nabij de Vikloskloof. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. Alleen ontbijt. Direct naast t hotel een goed restaurant. Prachtige wandeling vanuit t hotel naar het 15e eeuwse klooster, niet meer in gebruik,met prachtig uitzicht over de kloof. Kunststudenten uit Ionanina schilderen hier iconen.Mooie uitzichtpunten bij Papigo.
