This is based on my experience of staying 4 nights here. I had high expectations based on the reviews but was left very disappointed. Our room had a strong chemical smell which we slept in. I asked to move rooms or checkout, and they were full and did not allow me to checkout or else I would forfeit my money. I slept with the windows and sliding door open the following days and they moved me for one night. What was the most distasteful element of my stay was the service I received for raising my concern on the smell in the room. The staff made my partner and I feel as though I was making it up and being an inconvenience even though I was very nice and calm about the issue. As it is was a small hotel, the next 3 days I felt ignored and was never asked how everything is going. On top of this, the room was very loud and noisy as it was next to the kitchen. We could hear rattles and noise all night into the morning which meant we couldn’t sleep in at all. I believe that if the customer service here was better, my stay could have been massively improved. From staying across 10 hotels in Europe for this trip, this is by far the worst I experienced.

Everyone was wonderful and helpful the pools and property are beautiful and the rooms are lovely … right by the ocean and a quick walk to restaurants and shops. They have excellent recomendations for restaurants in the area. The concierge was a wonderful women who sent us to the best meal we had in all of Italy.

Such an outstanding oasis , renovated to to bottom, no detail missed. Beautiful outdoor pool area,rooftop, room balcony, bath , stereo ,tv,bedding Walk to beach and restaurants. Absolutely book it !

Fantastic hotel - in every way. Very nice room, breakfast buffet superb, pool area and hotel decor very nice - and staff super friendly. Walking distance from town square with restaurants and shops - but in a quiet street.

Fantastic hotel! Very Nice pool area, great room - with plenty of space and nice decor, and breakfast buffet was over the top good. Free parking in their courtyard. Walking distance to the main square, beaches and nice restaurants. The staff is so nice. Highly recommended.

Amazing place to stay! We had wonderful ocean view room! The room is beautuifully appointed with modern amenities and nice blackout electronic shades. The staff was friendly and helpful. We also went upstairs for nice view of Mondello and have an aperitivo and enjoyed sunset. The location is perfect as it is close to the water but not in busiest part of Mondello. They also offer parking within the location so that is a plus. We definitely recommend this place and will come back! We also were pleasantly surprised to find a cat family in adjacent front vegetation/plants. We could see them from the top level. It was a beautiful family of a mother cat and her two kittens. So Sweet! (It seems as staff wasnt aware of them as when we inquired they didnt seem to know what we were talking about) Hopefully someone takes care of them or takes them in as they were so beautiful and innocent.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Beautifully appointed, modern, clean and comfortable, I cannot praise it enough. The staff were exceptional in their willingness to help from booking and throughout our stay. If you visit Mondello, you must stay here. We woke to sunshine pouring into our room, ate breakfast in the garden, relaxed around the pool and drank apéritif’s on the roof. Perfect. Thank you so much.

Was an excellent two night stay to relax after almost two weeks of traveling Italy. Staff were very accommodating and the area was very quiet at night as it mins walk from busy area of Mondello. Communication was easy and location was great, room with a balcony to have wine with a view of the sunset is amazing.
Thanks for the great stay, if we are ever back in Sicily we will make our way back to Unico.
