Neptunia Beach

We stayed at this hotel for my partners 30th birthday, this was our first time in Tunisia and we loved it. The hotel staff are so welcoming and kind, the entertainment team and DJ were great fun with poolside entertainment during the day and funny comedy performances in the evening, it created a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

This was the 15th time I have been to Tunisia. This was my first time at this hotel. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Maids cleaning from sun up to sun down. They should be paid more! The best advice I can give, tip well. You’ll be treated well. Mr Jalel (manager) couldn’t do enough for us. I have walking problems and COPD. We had to move rooms a couple of times because I needed air con. Air con wasn’t working in either room. Mr Jalel ended up getting me a floor standing fan to help with the heat. We were on the 2nd floor facing the sea. The breeze was needed. Reception staff, especially Abdallah, were extremely helpful. Abdallah can speak good English and was very helpful when we needed a translator. I even ordered a birthday cake for my partner with the help from Abdallah. Dining room and kitchen staff were also very nice and helped whenever I needed help. We celebrated a birthday while at the hotel and they pulled out all the stops to make a cake and decorate the table with fresh flowers. All the staff even sang happy birthday. They were amazing! There is only one downside to this hotel and it was an employee called Adel who took you on excursions in the hotels name to wherever you wanted to go. We thought he was very friendly. He sold jewellery at the side of the shop and also worked in the shop with the shopkeeper at times. He even took us to atm when we needed to change money. He took us to the medina in Sousse and showed us around. He took us to a rug making shop. We enjoyed the banter from the staff at the shop and Adel. We bought 2 rugs! We brought one rug home with us and paid for the other to be shipped to Scotland. This rug was more expensive as it was a gift for mother in law, who is 85. We wanted a family tree with the names of the family in Arabic. We have asked Adel 4 times since our return to Scotland regarding when we would receive the rug. We were told to start with that we would get it. Now we don’t even get a reply about the rug.

Very clean room. Lovely bar staff and waiting on staff. No shops close by . Not safe to go out alone. Certainly doesn’t feel safe for females. Higher up hotel staff take you shopping and get you conned out of hundreds of pounds and won’t take no for an answer. Food wasn’t anything to write home about.

Just come back from a weeks stay here wouldnt go back , food very repetitive stew , Turkey or spaghetti every evening not much choice for breakfast unless you like cereal and eggs we ended up paying to go out for food the drinks are limited and taste cheap and watered down . the staff are nice especially the life gaurd and the bar / waiters always smiling And pleasant to talk to . The only thing the animation team was interested in entertaining was single women they would put music on a playlist then just sit at a table with women drinking. Tupac one of the animation team was the only one we noticed that tried to get people up to dance. Security guard had english women in his office drinking till early morning. Not sure the manager even notices what's going on. Tunisia is a lovely place to visit and I would visit again just not this hotel.

Everything is nice, food is nice, there are meals that are spicy and meals that aren't, for people who don't like that. Lunch and dinner are different every day of week.Kitchen is very clean, including forks, knifes and classes, People are warm, they help everyone. People who works there are professional.Animation team is great. Animators are doing great job and make people feel happy and safe. Guys who works as animators are nice and funny, they are very helpfull, and very reaspectful.Swimming poll is clean, and lifeguardas are also doing their job great. I love it, and i hope i'll go again.

We arrived at the morning and the check-in was at 14.00, but all of the staff they were so nice, they gave us the hotel wristbands so we could go have a breakfast. In our first room the toilet didn't work, but they immediately moved us to another room. The food was great, especially the desserts. The hotel equals 3 stars. But! The biggest thanks go to the ANIMATORS. Every day there were some funny programs: stretching with Dani, darts with Adam, aqua gym with Kariro and a mini disco every evening. They all are really good dancers, and they are very kind. The last day of our stay we talked a lot and we got to know tunisian culture and they even taught us a few words to speak Tunisian. We enjoyed our holiday so much because of these guys. When you get to know them, you fall in love with them right away. I hope we'll go there next year and see each other again.
