Ifestos Hotel

Plus: friendly and helpful staff, good location near to the beach and city centre. Comfortable bed for myself, the single bed for my son was less good. Negative: AC turns off automatically during night after one hour, it basically ruins the night sleep because of this. The room becomes extremely humid and hot and it awakens us during night. The AC would not turn on at all one evening and the staff had to bring a floor mounting fan to stand in for the AC. After removing a birdnest behind the external AC unit on the balcony the AC started up again, but still shut down in the middle of the night numerous times. This kept me awake and basically ruined the sleep for the whole week for me and my son. Basic breakfast with a quite bad tasting "juice" which was more like lemonade with added water. I mean, we are in Greece with many nice fruits available to pick in the area- why don't they try to up their game a bit and serve fresh fruit apart from the melon instead of the really bland apricot compot to add to the yoghurt? Noisy rooms beacuse of the door which is situated between the rooms, adding to the misery was a "neighbouring" austrian which smoked cigarillos as often as possible ruining or stay especially outside at the balcony which faced inwards towards the hotel. if there was sufficient wind, the smell wasn't to bad, during still wind the smell was terrible.

Wonderful small hotel with very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Just a five minute walk from there to a pleasant beach. Picturesque center within ten minutes walking distance. This hotel is warmly recommended for tourists who value genuine and honest hospitality.

Ein Haus wie aus der Zeit gefallen! Wie ein Dejavu an das Griechenland vor 30 Jahren, oder so. Nun war das auch die Zeit in der wir uns in Griechenland verliebt haben. Aber es scheint die Zeit hat auch uns verändert, deshalb bei allem Wohlwollen auch einige Kritikpunkte: Klassisches Zimmer der frühen 90er Jahre, kleines Badezimmer und der unvermeidliche am Rücken klebender Duschvorhang. Beim öffnen und schließen streift die Türe die Klobrille. Die Sauberkeit entspricht sicher nicht mehr aktuellen Standarts, Gelsen Leichen kleben an der Wand, der gut gefüllte Aschenbecher am Balkon wird erst nach Reklamation am 3 Tag geleert. Anmerkung wir sind Nichtraucher und es handelte sich dabei, genauso wie ein Sackerl mit lerren Getränkedosen, um Willkommensgeschenke der Vormieter. Wenige Stunden (auch Abends) genügen um das Zimmer in einem Backofen zu verwandelt. So dass selbst das Klimagerät auf Arktisstärke einige Zeit braucht um erträgliche Temperaturen herzustellen. Der Frühstücksraum mit kleinem Außenbereich, der liegt etwas unter dem angrenzenden Straßenniveau und vorbeifahende Pkw's und vor allem Autobusse fluten ihn sehr schnell mit ihren Abgase. Das und die ungemütliche Plastik Tische und Stühle führt dazu, dass es so gut wie keine Platz Probleme gibt. Auch zu erwähnen das Frühstück Buffet. Mann/Frau weis, Griechen haben keine Frühstück's Tradition und daher auch geringe Erwartungen. Trotzdem muss die lieblose Präsentation betont werden, die Tabletts vermitteln den Charm eines Bahnhofsbuffets. Nach all dem aber auch positives, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Team rund um die Rezeption, die Lage zum Strand und nach einem kleinen Fußweg auch in die Stadt ist bestechend. Sollten wir nochmals Lemnos besuchen (und es sieht sehr danach aus) wird es wohl wieder das Haus der Wahl werden. Wir haben uns umgesehen, auf der ganzen Insel. ... und bei allen Mängel, ist das Ifestos für unsere Bedürfnisse am besten geeignet.

Πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο. Άνετο,καθαρό και το προσωπικό Πολύ ευγενικό. Η Βάσω στην ρεσεψιόν πάντα με το χαμόγελο και πρόθυμη να μας εξυπηρετήσει!!!! Το μόνο μειονέκτημα ήταν ότι δεν υπήρχε σίτα στην μπαλκονοπορτα και έμπαιναν μύγες και κουνούπια.

γενική βαθμολογία ξενοδοχείου,περιοχής,φιλοξενίας,διάθεσης, 9 από 10 το συνιστο για όλες τις οικογένειες που θα το επισκεφτούν σημασία έχει η ΔΙΑΘΕΣΗ στα ταξίδια εφεθειτε σε νέες περιπέτειες εύκολες ή δύσκολες

Πολύ καλά δωμάτια και με δροσιά και κουζινάκι και ψυγείο!!!Άψογη εξυπηρέτηση από το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου που έχει μεγάλη πείρα και ευγενική συμπεριφορά!!!Άνετα δωμάτια,ήσυχη περιοχή έξω από το ξενοδοχείο!!!Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!!
