Queen Isis Floating Hotel in Minya

I booked a 5star package to review the temples & tombs & was given this boat. This boat is certainly not 5 star. There is no bar on board. Only serves soft drinks and water.There is no choice of food at dinner. No menu on the table. Just a soft drinks menu. You sit down at your table and a soup is put in front of you followed by a salad then a main course & a dessert of mini cakes which are tasteless. My friend was given calamari which she doesn't like. Someone on a nearby table said they were vegeterian so they were given chips & salad. We asked if we could buy an ice-cream on the soft drinks menu but there were none on board even though they were advertised. The rooms look as if they have recently been toshed up with paint and it is all dripping down the sink and windows. Our hairdryer was hanging off the wall. I won't even mention the toilet brush it was so disgusting The only deck which is ok is the top deck with the pool and sun loungers but it needs umbrella's in the 35c heat. Other boats passing us had the, When we docked on route to see a temple we had to pass through 4 other boats to get on shore and I looked at the other boats and they all looked nice and plush with bars and shops on board. I was put on this boat by a company called Sun holidays. There tour guide who joined us on board was a guy called Ahmed Bahaa. When he introduced himself he was so friendly and helpful until the last evening when he asked us for tips even though we had only spent 1 hour on a tour with him, nut he said sit down I need you to do me a good review. I did this on trip advisor then he said no no I need to see whet you have written and take a screen shot. His attitude had changed. I was getting a bit flustered so he said to my friend and I that he would help us do it and then when we received the email from trip advisor to say it had been published it said that we had done a 4 day trip with him flying from Cairo to Aswan which was totally untrue. Very unhappy about this
