I booked Casa Brera reading the good reviews, and because I am a Marriott member. Overall, it is a pretty good hotel with amazing service and friendly people. The staff was really nice and so friendly. Our room included breakfast. While we had no complaints, the rooms were really small and not that comfortable especially given the price. The rooms were modern and clean, housekeeping excellent, but they were small. We booked a couple of rooms, and one was more uncomfortable than the other. One of the rooms had two closets and more counter space in the bathroom and more space to move around. The other felt very cramped with inadequate bathroom counter space and not even a proper closet. We paid a hefty premium mainly due to the location and probably rooftop pool. The pool is not bad, it is small but not bad at all especially for Milan. Breakfast was included and while the buffet options were limited, it was sufficient because you got to choose an item from the menu as well. It was quite adequate and you don't overeat or waste. The dinner was okay, nothing to write home about. Water was always provided in the room. Overall we had a mixed stay because we really would have preferred more space in the room. But it was so convenient - the location was super central yet quiet, in the middle of it all yet tucked away in a quiet street. They had a gym as well which we didn't get a chance to use.
