Hotel Loskade 45

We found this hotel on ******* but better to book direct. They speak perfect English and cannot be more helpful. It is a family owned business and that is evident by the level of care that is put into everything. We had rooms 7, 8 and 10. The whole place was spotless and the breakfast delicious. The hotel doesn’t have its own parking but there are plenty of spaces on the quayside outside and you can pay by card on the machine. We had a car and three motor bikes which were accommodated in two spaces. Middelburg centre and its fabulous shops bars and restaurants were a total delight and we would all love to visit again. It’s a small Amsterdam but not so touristy and very easy to walk around.

I stayed here for one evening last week and loved the hotel room and the service. I wish there was AC - during the 2022 hot spell it would be a good thing. There is a fan that provided some comfort which was good. At check-in, the host was very friendly and informative, even mapping out the optimal walking route to see the best parts of the town. At breakfast, another employee showed that same friendliness. Good food and a smile is a great start to the day. I’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed for a few days to use Middelburg as a base. We had the "family" apartment and it was perfect set up for a family. Plenty of space to not be on top of each other. The only feedback I would have is there isn't anywhere to have a suitcase open easily and even if you wanted to unpack anything there is a small set of drawers in either room We will definitely be back!
