Viva Miches by Wyndham, a Trademark All Inclusive Resort

☠️⚠️It is not a five-star hotel BY NO means at all The food at the buffet was always terrible and cold. No top-shelf alcohol in the whole place. 6ppl from our party had digestional issues for days. Management is irresponsible and does not care about customer complaints or SAFETY My 5 and 8-year-old niece and nephew were let out of the kids' club without anybody signing them out. We found them by the pool alone. Thank god we came back from the beach on time! Not only could they have drowned, they also could have been abducted. I did speak to the manager of the kids' club/entertainment. HE SAID HE will address this. I'm still waiting for a response! I also called corporate and waiting for a response from them! We had a big family event 70+ people. That is why I did not leave immediately! Go to a place that values you and your vacation needs. The staff (workers) were great and did the best they could under terrible management. Shame on you Wyndham!

DIDNT MIND THE DRIVE MICHES IS THE RIGHT SIZE OF A RESORT FOOD WAS OKAY BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO BE HOT ANYMORE IN THE BUFFETS WE GOT PUT IN THE VIP SECTION 4 TH FLOOR SEEM NEVER GET THE ROOM THAT WE TRY TO REQUEST YEAR AFTER YEAR BUT LUCKY US WE GOT THE CLOSEST TO THE ENTERTAINMEMT AND DISCO I DONT MIND THE DISCO OR ANTHING THAT GOES ALONG WITH THAT BUT OUR ROOM WAS NOT SOUND PROOF SHOULD HAVE SWITCH LEARNED MY LESSON AFTER 4 NIGHTS OF NO SLEEP MY AND THE DOOR SLAMMING WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD STARTS AT 7AM ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT SLAM SLAM I FOUND THAT THE CLEANING STAFF JUST HANGS OUT GOING INTO ROOMS WITH PROBABLY PUTTING THINGS IN ROOMS I SWEAR ALL DAY SLAM SLAM NEVER GOT A WINK OF SLEEP I WOULD SAY NO CLEAN TODAY THEY JUST CAME IN ANYWAYS AND DONT EXPECT ANY BRAND NAMES OF ALCOHOL ALL OF IT WAS CRAP YOU HAD TO BE VIP HAD THE NOISY VIP ROOM BUT NO BRACELET COME ON THEY COULD HAVE GAVE US ONE VERY FEW ENGLISH IF ANY SHOULD HAVE DONE MY HOMEWORK AND BELIEVED THE OTHER REVIEWS I WAS IN PUERTO PLATA VIVA AS WELL ONLY VIP GOT THE BEST DRINKS I MUST BE GETTING OLD DOORS WERE SLAMMING THERE AS WELL NO MORE VIVA WYNDAM FOR ME PERSONALLY NO NEVER AGAIN CAME HOME EXAUSTED I USALLY DONT MIND POOLS THIS ONE COULD HAVE BEEN A BIT BETTER DONT FORGET IT A FAMILY RESORT FIRST TIME THE KIDS BOTHER ME NO MORE OF THAT ADULT ONLY ALL THE WAY THE BEACH WAS NICE A PERSON COULD NOT FIND A SHADED AREA AT HALL THEY MUST BE GONE BY 5 AM NEXT TIME I GOT TO GET SMARTER OR STAY HOME ACTUALLY ILL HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THAT OR MAYBE BETTER EARPLUGS

This was the third VIVA resort we have visited, and Viva Miches far exceeded our expectations! The resort is absolutely beautiful, set apart from any other resort on the tranquil Samana Bay. The food was excellent, especially in the a-la-carte restaurants. We had very picky eaters in our group, and everyone found the food delicious. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. It helps to know a little bit of Spanish to communicate with the staff, however many of them speak multiple languages, so we rarely had a language barrier. The pool was lovely and the activities/entertainment team were all fun to watch, hard-working young adults. I have not yet been home 24 hours, and I am already planning a return trip!
