Best Western Batesville

Nothing reall unique but location was convenient. Room was good. Clean and comfortable. Close to restaurant choices. Would stay again.

Easy access from the freeway. Breakfast was very good. Hotel has an elevator. Room was clean but rather small. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were too small. Bathroom was so small the door opened inward and missed hitting the toilet by 2-3 inches. Distance between the end of the bed and the desk chair was about a foot. Not a big deal but they can make a person's stay less pleasant.

I work as a housekeeper at a state park so I’m going to notice a lot more things then other people who never been a housekeeper and I can say this is probably one of the most cleanest hotels I’ve been to. Everything looked up to date, the woman who checked me in was super nice and friendly and it was a quiet place. I will definetly come back here again if I am up that way later on.

Hotel was clean and nice, staff was friendly. Hotel was easy to get in and out of. Overall was nice.

Check in was kind of weird. System would not take any of our credit cards. Code was reservation had expired when I booked it 2 hours ago. Night manager had to call to get system to process our credit card. Was awakened at 5:30 AM with a very strong smell of automobile exhaust. So bad we had to get out of the room. Before leaving room I found a gap between the top window and the lower window that was large enough to stick my hand through. Told night manager and his response was “Are you leaving today?” I said he needed to go tell the owner of the vehicle to either move it or turn it off. He did and then told me they would be leaving soon. I really don’t like complaining about employees because so few people are willing to work. This night manager was not a bad person but seemed to be improperly trained. I place the blame on the hotel owner. This could have ended up very bad for my wife and I as if I had not awakened we could have ended up very sick. The night manager did apologize several times, which was probably all he knew to do. Again not properly trained. Urgency of the situation was not there.

Room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and the breakfast food was hot with good variety.

Staff was very friendly but I was put in a back area that was very outdated and my room smelled so bad I went to the store and bought febreeze to hopefully make it better.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is great with a nice dining area. Check-in was quick and efficient. Side door (closer to our room) card key scanner was broke. You could go out, but could not get back in, leaving you having to walk half way around the building to go through front entrance. Pretty quiet for the most part. However, if you happen to get a room next to a louder group or family, you may become frustrated with the noise seeping into your room. Overall a good experience, especially for the price.

Quiet night in a comfortable bed! Breakfast had a wide variety of options! Convenient location with food nearby!! Front desk clerks were friendly and welcoming!
