Very nice and great service including a great outdoor pool area and shuttle to Venice.

We love the hotel room, it’s so spacious, clean and beautiful 😍 However, the location is not the best, it’s 18 minutes walk from the train station and still have to take another train ( 2 stops) to Venice. Initially we thought the hotel will provide free shuttle service, but we were only told that our package is not included with the shuttle service and need to pay 20 euro per person for one way in order to use the shuttle service. This is a very small villa and I think they are short of staff to work? There’s only one receptionist when we first arrived, and when he directed us to the wrong room, he tapped the door and someone was inside??? He later then told us it’s a wrong room. When we came back at night, there are no receptionist at the counter ( we waited for 5-10 mins and rang the counter bell). We were so surprised that the cleaner that cleaned our room did not top up water for us, and didn’t even replace new glasses/ wash our glasses? The used glasses were remained on the same spots. Overall I think we mainly enjoyed the room, but mainly not there for service or if you need to travel out to Venice.

Lovely pre-cruise stay here; away from the hectic craze of Venice proper! The pre-arrival communications were excellent and we felt welcomed upon arrival. We secured transport from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the port through the front desk. All requests were as communicated and perfectly executed. Grounds are beautiful. Our room was comfortable, spacious but could use a re-fresh of paint, flooring and furniture. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice as was the staff. In fact, all staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is quaint, location is perfect (without the crazy hustle and bustle of Venice proper) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Just returned after two night stay, meeting up with our son who was staying three nights. The hotel is stunning, beautiful gardens and pool area, amazing architecture and wonderful staff. If you want luxury and opulence that gives that Venetian feel rather than corporate, you must go here. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and taken in the gardens which added to the experience. As I said staff so helpful and knowledgeable, truly an asset to the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel end of March 2024 for our anniversary. The hotel was well situated for day excursions to Venice, with its own minibus to the city. The Hotel is beautifully presented with lovely architecture, the room we stayed in was spacious with comfortable bed plenty of room. The bathroom was large with a lovely shower and heated floor. We travelled into Venice during the day and ate at the hotels restaurant the Malipiero in the evenings. The menu was exceptional with fresh bread at the table, welcome glass of prosecco and canapes on arrival. We do eat out alot and i can say after the first night we didnt need to go any further. Fresh seafood and italian meat dishes, we couldnt fault it. The waiters and waitresses were really accomodating and friendy Viorica was one who made us feel so welcome. Breakfast again was superb with fresh coffees and selection of local pastries and meats. All in all I would highly recommend the Hotel and Staff. We stayed early in the season so unable to try the pool.

Fabulous location, amazing building and grounds. We really enjoyed the hotel. Our room was very comfortable. The dining room had spectacular decor. The swimming pool area was very clean although we were at the end of the season so the pool was a bit chilly.

Villa Barbarich is a beautiful place to stay. The building is stunning and it also hast vast manicured gardens. Having a swimming pool is an added bonus. A free return shuttle bus to Venice (prebook the day before) is really efficient and convenient. All of the staff are welcoming and attentive. We stayed in a ground floor room which also had its own private garden area with patio furniture (an unexpected but welcome surprise).

Great hotel ..nice location just outside venice,free shuttle few times a day, wonderfull swimming pool, room is nice decorate and daily clean,the breakfast is great the service is fantasic, one night we hadva dinner in the garden ,the food wasnt that special but service was!! We been treated like royals since we walk in,the restaurant manager Salvatori and his female assistant "sorry dont remember the name " the were great funny and efficent specially Salvatori.who made us feel very confortable and well treated.. Me and my fiancee stayed at this hotel for a week and it is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Luca in particular was very helpful. They offer a free shuttle service to and from venice each day which is a added bonus. You can pay to use the spa where you will get the entire place to yourself for an hour, this is very relaxing and would definitely recommend it. Our room was very big and spacious, the ceiling windows are a lovely touch to the room. The hotel is eco conscious which is great to see. The breakfast buffet each morning was very big and they brought me a gluten free basket every day which was perfect. You can have breakfast in the garden and admire the beautiful garden surroundings.Their lunch and evening menu has lots of gluten free options on too. Overall we both really enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave. I cannot recommend hotel villa barbarich highly enough.

Amazing amazing amazing! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for the weekend and couldn’t have been pleased more! Fantastic place, super calm, picturesque and atmospheric. Clean rooms, professional staff, who is always willing to help with any requests and making sure you get the best possible experience during your stay! Food is another topic. The chef is truly a genius. We were left with no words after trying “l’uovo tranquillo” and famous carciofo. High cuisine combined with amazing service will definitely make you come back here! Recommend thousand times!
