Hotel Ansitz Plantiz

I booked and fully paid for 2 rooms months in advance. We arrived at 12 and were told check-in is at 2….I have stayed before but no welcome back or kind greeting. We went out and returned at 5pm to be shown our suites….1 suite was like a smokers den! Upon walking in the receptionist said “yes it’s so bad but we had a guest who smoked in here for 7 days”!!!!!! We asked to have a different room but were told no rooms of the same category were available. They offered to give us the room our friend had (as a single traveller it was a large room) and basically downgrade us both. I spoke with the owner and asked why someone was allowed to smoke for a week, he said “what should I do, call the police”….! Eventually they moved us to a standard room. The receptionist lied repeatedly telling me that her colleague was wrong and the regular room was not a downgrade from the 2 room suite with private sauna on the terrace . The 2nd night they moved us again, this time to an upgraded suite No apology was offered at anytime. No gesture of even a glass of wine was offered at anytime Upon checkout no refund was offered for either the downgrade, the inconvenience or the bad experience. I explaIned I had not been provided with what I had paid for and a downgrade 1 night, an upgrade 1 night did not work. The owner begrudgingly gave us €100 discount on a room that cost €1800…… he did however acknowledge that the first night was a downgraded room, thereby confirming his receptionist had lied It is a very nice looking hotel but the owners, the receptionists and the wait staff are awful. No one smiles, no one is helpful. For the price you pay you get a 17yr old doing spa treatments, they have no experienced cocktail bar staff (they make cocktails using a recipe book, we tried several, only 1 tasted decent), there is no turndown service, 1 single carafe of water in your room and you get 1 towel each. The dinner and breakfast buffet isn’t refreshed so you need to be early! As a repeat guest you get 2 mouldy satsumas in your room…..without even a welcome back card The owner and his less than charming receptionist, insisted that they enforced no smoking. We found the no smoking sign in all the rooms we had, hidden in a cupboard…..together with a handy box of matches. They enforced it so badly that the housekeeper insisted on bringing an ashtray into the room for us even though we said no!!! All in all a dreadful experience. No apologies at anytime and a general sense that all they care about is getting as much money as possible out of guests. Avoid this hotel unless it changes ownership. Many wonderful hotels in the area. Stay at Maiena, Hotel Therme Meran or Weinegg if in the area….

So, don’t know where to start. We had high expectations for this hotel. Unfortunately, didn’t’ go as hoped. Really, REALLY rude people at the reception. At the arrival we were just parked at the garden to wait for the room. We didn’t check in early. Later my wife went to the reception to ask for fitness offers they have. She was told to go to the hotel website and book from there. Not much help as the person at the reception barely got up to “help”… As we were checking out, I asked if I could borrow the luggage wagon to bring our luggage down from the room. “Lady” at the reception had one word answer, NO, in a were rude and unfriendly voice and tone. Later found out that these wagons are not to be used without “a driver” from the hotel. Please note that this was a normal wagon that you see in lots of hotels. No hi tech… This hotel could have so much potential if the management would treat the customers as, well, customers.

Tolles Hotel als Anlaufstation bei einem Oldtimer Ausflug. Sehr saubere Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal und reichhaltiges leckeres Frühstücksangebot. Der Oldtimer kann in der vorhandenen Tiefgarage abgestellt werden. Ein super Hotel nicht nur für Oldtimerfahrer.

Avendo pagato l'intero soggiorno via bonifico dopo aver fatto check in vado in camera e mi chiamano dopo due minuti dicendo che il bonifico non è ancora arrivato ,dico di stare tranquilli invio copia e la mattina seguente è tutto a posto ma nessuno mi ha piu' chiesto nulla in merito . Ma si fa cosi in un hotel 4 stelle s ? Inoltre , Trattamento diverso per italiani e stranieri .Hanno continuato a parlarmi in tedesco per 3 giorni scusandosi ogni volta e ripetendo in italiano ma in malo modo . Camere non oscurabili con luce forte dalle 6 del mattino . Sono rimasta delusa soprattutto dal buffet colazione decisamente scarso ,sotto le mie aspettative e non a livello delle stelle della struttura . Personale (della reception soprattutto )non empatico e poco cordiale ,mi aspettavo maggiore gentilezza e cortesia il tutto con prezzi esagerati 1/2 di acqua del minibar 4.50€ Mi spiace molto perché pensavo veramente molto meglio e avrei voluto tornarci ma non credo ci tornerò .

Erneut hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel Ansitz Plantiz und können es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind modern, sehr sauber und bieten eine gemütliche, wohnliche Atmosphäre, in der man sich wohl fühlt. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut gelegen – ruhig und dennoch recht zentral, mit einem wunderschönen Garten, der auch für im Winter, eine Atmosphäre bietet. Das Essen war wieder hervorragend. Es gab täglich eine neue Auswahl an köstlichen Gerichten, die mit viel Liebe und hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet wurden. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die herzliche und familiäre Bewirtung – man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen und gut umsorgt. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hotel bello e tranquillo che offre una bellissima vista; abbastanza comodo per il centro di Merano. La stanza (suite c/vista) si è rivelata spaziosa, luminosa, molto ben pulita e dotata di ampio balcone con bellissima vista e comodamente attrezzato. Bella la sala ristorante e gli altri spazi comuni. Cordiale il personale e molto efficiente la giovane signora che ci ha accolto alla SPA. Molto ben assortita e complessivamente di buon livello l'offerta della 1a colazione. Ottime le pietanze che abbiamo scelto durante le cene. Molto ben tenuto e spazioso anche il garage per l'auto. Scelta notevole di vini, distillati, amari e liquori da abbinare eventualmente ad un'ampia scelta di sigari da degustare nei begli spazi messi a disposizione. Cosa non è piaciuto · Essendo in Italia, mi aspetterei che tutto il personale sappia parlare perfettamente la lingua italiana. Nonostante l'ampia offerta di cuscini, non sono riuscito a trovare la combinazione giusta per un riposo ideale; personalmente non amo i letti alla tedesca (con piuomoni singoli e "liberi"). In un hotel di questa categoria do per scontato trovare il necessario per preparare in autonomia caffé/thé/tisane in camera. Amplierei la scelta delle pietanza nel menù della cena. Non ho apprezzato i croissant dolci.
