Arrive Memphis

Stayed for 2 nights as part of a road trip vacation with my husband. What a find!! This is such a unique….hotel is such a normal word that does not feel right when describing Arrive. This building was originally a warehouse and the designer for the hotel did a marvelous job keeping to the authentic feel of that. Stepping into your room will immediately make you smile, as I promise you have never stayed in a room quite like this before. If you want a “normal” hotel then go elsewhere. If you want something really cool, this is for you. Concrete ceilings and floors, while original to the warehouse for function….to the traveler who appreciates NOT hearing someone stomping in the room above them will absolutely appreciate them! (If you do hear things you don’t like I saw they have a glass jar of ear plugs above the sink!) The staff takes southern hospitality to the next level. They are so friendly! And there is a built in coffee shop. Only thing to prepare in advance for is parking- they offer valet $35 plus city tax a day. We came on a weekend so street parking was free after 10pm on Friday until Monday morning. Saturday night parking was rough when people were still out drinking/clubbing, but the rest of the weekend was totally fine. Enjoy Ernestine and Hazel’s at the end of the block. Get a soul burger. Totally didn’t know when we went there, but it’s famous. ******* and the best dive bar in the world. Been in 9 movies. We just needed to eat when we got there! lol

ARRIVE is a bit off the beaten path, but, within walking distance to Beale Street and all the fun and history. It is across the street from the historic Lorraine Hotel. Upon arrival, we opted for valet parking. There is street parking available, as well. The lobby is very inviting, creatively appointed, with a bar, Bar Hustle, several seating areas, and a small breakfast spot, Hustle and Dough. That’s where check-in is, as well, which went smoothly for us. I can see where there may be times that there may be a wait, due to the personnel’s double duties. We booked a corner loft which was full of light and very open and spacious. The floors are concrete with throw rugs and runners. Our floors were clean…no dirt on my socks. It is an open floor plan, hence, a loft! I hope the pics do it justice. The king bed was very comfortable, loved the tiled shower and sink area. It was very quiet at night. If I had to ask for something more, it would be having a fridge. There is a stocked fridge, items for purchase, which I was able to squeeze my stuff in. Secondly, ice machines needed. Our bartender was great! Instead of waiting at the breakfast cafe for ice, he gave us cups full. We will return for sure!

A gem in Memphis. Perfectly located just a couple blocks from Beale Street and downtown. One block from Central Bar B Que and National Civil Rights Museum. The staff are amazing!! Great drinks in the bar. Big round of applause to housekeeping. Our room (418) was spotless!!

This is the funkiest hotel we’ve ever stayed in It is immaculately maintained, and the decor is really cool Staff are lovely Valet service is efficient and friendly Located short walk from Beale Street Well worth a visit when you are going to Memphis

This place is a little gem! It’s a quirky, boutique hotel that’s very comfortable and cosy! We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. The staff are helpful and friendly . It’s a definite must stay hotel for us !

My jaw dropped when I entered my room. The brick walls, beautiful decor, and city view took my breath away. Bed was comfy too. If you need an iron and ironing board you’ll need to request it. No phone in the room so have your iPhone charged. Food options at the hotel were excellent, although they were out of the salad during my stay. I really appreciated the valet parking option. Staff was the best ever. I’ll be back.
