Very good choice for accommodation which is conveniently located and not too noisy. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of the bed and cleanliness. When we reached the hotel, we were very early and had thought we would we’d thought we would need to deposit our luggage with the concierge. Much to our surprise, the room was ready for us and the key cards were issued readily! The hotel lobby was tastefully decorated and has amenities that catered to guests’ needs. I chose to upgrade my room to one that provided a comfortable mattress (梦百合0压床垫). It’s comfortable for me. Unfortunately for my aunt who is a petite old lady, the bed was too tall for her and she struggled to get onto the bed. There was some electrical works carried out on the night we checked in. The hotel staff took the effort to inform us personally aside from placing a notification letter in our room. Overall, we had a good experience staying here and would definitely consider the hotel if we return.

We flew all the way from Australia to pay homage to our grandpa’s motherland in Meizhou — and staying at this hotel made our journey truly unforgettable! Hands down, the best hotel ever!!! They upgraded both of our rooms to Executive Deluxe, and every single staff member — from the driver, reception team, to the housekeeping staff — was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. The people of Meizhou are so warm and genuinely appreciative of Hakka descendants returning to their roots. You can really feel a special, divine energy in this beautiful province. You MUST try the hotel’s restaurant — absolutely delicious and authentic Hakka cuisine! And the buffet breakfast was amazing too! We are soooo happy and grateful! Thank you so much for making our trip home to our motherland even more wonderful. 💛✨🇨🇳

The rooms are 4.5 star hotel standard at a very good price point. Very comfortable. Good beds

Very close to the Station, but not the best location if you are visiting first time and want to go around . Hotel is nice and clean .

Reception is friendly and helpful. Driver is experienced and knowledgeable. Location is good and convenient. Breakfast is good , especially the “客家腌面”。 Room is a bit dark and old. Need some sprucing up!

We stayed 3 nites at Howard Johnson Meizhou Hotel, and the experiences were superb! The hotel staff esp by the named Melissa, Ruby n Andy Zhang; were highly motivated and enthusiastic to cater to our requests and queries. Despite their tight schedule, they offered detailed information pertaining to the places of interest Kudos and Jiayou to this Hotel and their deserving staff!

Staffs were super helpful and friendly especially then front desk staff Jenny and the manager Andy, they helped ask to arrange the room since we need some special arrangement. The housekeeping ladies also very helpful

Nice for family trip, a lot of food and souvenir store nearby.

Had an amazing time at this hotel , very friendly reception made me feel welcomed straight away , clean lovely rooms with comfortable beds and an impressive view. In the night one staff member called Zoey went out of her way to help me when I had issues with getting some milk for the baby and gifted me a few cartons from her office. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I will always come back. Very foreigner friendly. Also free parking and they have a Starbucks next door #perfect

A big thanks to Front Office Manager Zero Xie for making our stay memorable. He is able to converse in English and recommended us interesting places to visit such as the Nanhua Youlu Weilong House, Zhongshan Road in the Old City and the best place to view the Meijiang River. He also helped to send the Map location of places outside Meizhou so that I can easily order a DiDi ehailing ride. Highly recommended to stay at this hotel and please ask Zero Xie for assistance if you don't know which places to visit.

Check in staff was very helpful. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and food was excellent
