Hotel Marina - Liburnia

Hotel needs some renovation and it doesn’t look like on the photos on the liburnia hotels site. Placemats that are put on a table in this hotel with 4* should have go to trash many years ago. Swimming pool is very small.

We went as a family of 3 in one room + extra bed. I slept on the extra bed (which is some sort of foldable sleep couch) and although there was a slightly hard line in the middle, I was able to sleep well. It even has a curtain to make it seem like a little extra room. The AC was very loud and very cold. On our last day we found the hidden switch behind the curtains so make sure to thoroughly check or ask the staff at the reception. Speaking of which, we had to go down there and ask for help with several things and the staff was always friendly and helpful. There's always someone at the reception, 24/7 Many of them speak German but going without English knowledge would make your trip a bit more difficult. People in the shops and cafés around the Hotel also speak both languages and also Italian. The hotel has a 1,35m deep pool and less than a minute to the beach. Make sure to pack water shoes though as it's not a Sandy beach but has pebbles. The water is fantastic btw. There is a supermarket (Konsum) right next to the hotel so you can buy whatever you might need there. Surprisingly there's a good bus connection to Opatija and Rijeka as well. Just ask the reception staff for a bus plan and they'll explain everything. Google maps also helps with that. Our 7 year old enjoyed the Kids club and the kids disco with mascot Liri which is every night at 8pm. The disco is usually followed by performances like dance shows and a clown. The dancers are talented and put a lot of effort into their shows. They even went around to talk with the guests, take pictures with the kids and it's been enjoyable to watch for adults as well. The food at the hotel was really good and there were always 4-5 different dishes to choose from, but their German translation occasionally lacked a correct translation. Make sure to bring a phone to translate (English is always there) or ask the staff. There's always a salad bar and they also offer cakes and ice cream (although the latter only in the evenings) We've had a great stay at the hotel and would recommend it. Again, shout-out to the really friendly dancers of the show, it was a pleasure talking to you.

We enjoyed our stay in a hotel. The rooms were very clean and with balcony. The food was delicious and they really took care of my gluten free food. I also got a dessert each time I went for dinner or breakfast. The pool was a little colder than what I am used to. Nice stay, would reccommend.

We reserved 5 rooms since February and we had 5 cars. The price that was given to us was in euro and when we checked in they made us pay around 80€ plus for each family despite the fact that we already had email confirmations about the price in Euro. This amount was not present in the bill which they gave us 2 days later and never offered us the possibility to talk to the administration. After that we payed for the parking which turned out to be another scam. We were handeled a paper which was not a bill and we were told that we had a discount on the parking. When we left the hotel(which was left 1 day in advance) one of the recepsionists requested information and extra payment for the parking which we did not agree. She went outside and photographed our cars!!!!! One of us saw it and we immediatly requested to delete them because this is a violation of privacy and violation of personal information. The lady made sure that some other guy from the staff was outside to take pictures again!!! Against every law in the world!!! The hotel has no signed labels that is surveyd by cameras and imagine being photographed!!!! The only good thing was the cleaning staff and the food. Never coming

One of the best hotels in this area. The staff is friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms are big and clean. My room had seaview, which made my stay at this hotel even more pleasant. Pool, sauna are great too. Except parking, which is 10 euro/day, everything is included in the price. The beach is a couple of minutes away. The food was amazing. Best breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet ever.

Eines vorweg: Ich war Mitte/Ende September im Urlaub und habe etwa 50 € pro Nacht bezahlt. Ich fahre in der Regel nie zu Hauptzeiten, sondern meist Nebensaison. Mitte/Ende September ist wie immer alles viel entspannter und ruhiger. Darauf bezieht sich auch meine Bewertung. - Insgesamt ein schönes und gepflegtes Hotel. - Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis hat mich positiv überrascht. - Zum Preis sollte man immer die tägliche Parkgebühr von 11 € hinzu rechnen. - Die Mitarbeiter waren alle freundlich und hilfsbereit. (hier kann ich so manche negative Bewertungen einfach nicht nachvollziehen. Es gilt wie immer "wie man in den Wald hinein ruft.....") - Ich hatte das einfachste Zimmer gebucht. Ja, es war klein, aber für mich und für einen Badeurlaub völlig ausreichend. - Bad sehr klein, aber für mich als Alleinreisenden auch ausreichend. - Alles war sauber - Frühstück super reichhaltig - Abendessen: ein übliches Buffet, wie ich es auch aus anderen 4-Sterne Häusern in Kroatien kenne. Ich selbst habe es nur manchmal genutzt, da es automatisch eine Halbpension-Buchung war und ich aber häufig in den umliegenden (sehr empfehlenswerten) Lokalen gegessen habe. Wenn ich im Hotel gegessen habe, war ich immer sehr spät dran und muss dennoch feststellen, dass bis zum Schluss immer alles aufgefüllt wurde. - Wellnessbereich: klein und fein - Innenpool in die Jahre gekommen. Wurde von mir nicht genutzt - Der Outdoorpool war für mich nicht besonders ansprechend, aber nachdem der wunderschöne Strand nur 20m entfernt liegt, für mich zu vernachlässigen - Die Lage ist super. Strandnah und absolut zentral in dem kleinen Ort.

Zaletą hotelu jest jego położenie. Wszędzie jest blisko, do plaży 100 metrów, basen zewnętrzy 50m, kryty 50m, sklep 100, parking przed hotelem. Z zaparkowaniem nie było najmniejszych problemów, ale parking jest drogi 12 euro za dzień. Nie ma przy tym możliwości zaparkowania gdzieś obok bez ponoszenia podobnych opłat. Pokój superior wystarczająco doży, wygodne łóżka, balkon odpowiedniej wielkości, ale uwaga - głośne urządzenia wentylacyjne działające do godziny 23. Łazienka w porządku, czysta. Odpowiednia ilość miejsca w szafach. Posiłki bardzo dobrej jakości, zróżnicowane, jest bardzo duży wybór dań głównych, przystawek, deserów. Restauracja duża, wygodna, odpowiednie odstępy między stolikami. Owoce morza dobrze przyrządzane, ryby również w sporym wyborze. Wino i piwo do obiadów i kolacji. Brak kolejek do bufetów. Basen zewnętrzny niestety nie czyszczony. Basen wewnętrzny o odpowiedniej wielkości i dobrej temperaturze wody, jednak dach wymaga renowacji, choćby pomalowania. SPA niewielkie, ale czyste i odpowiednie. Są też stoły do ping - ponga. Do plaży naprawdę blisko, właściwie hotel przy plaży, jednak ta bardzo zatłoczona, bez naturalnego cienia, tylko parasole do wynajęcia. Minus to praca leżakowych, właściwie nic nie robili oprócz tego, że się chowali, żeby nikt od nich nie chciał. Dla przykładu - niesprzątanie przy leżakach hotelowych, dużo śmieci, nie roznosili materacy do leżaków i wydawali je brudne. Jak przeszła burza i złamała drzewo dewastując spory obszar z leżakami, to firma zewnętrzna bardzo sprawnie połamane drzewo usunęła w dwie godziny, a dalej pracownicy od leżaków do końca dnia grabili parę gałązek, a i tak zostawili pełno potłuczonego szkła, bo nie chciało im się zebrać.

Nach drei Jahren wollten wir dem Hotel erneut eine Chance geben und wurden bitter enttäuscht. Positiv: Das einzig positive, der Safe im Zimmer und die Klimaanlage (teilweise) funktionieren im Vergleich zu 2020. Negativ: Klimaanlage: In dem Zimmern hat es 27/28 Grad und die Klimaanlage kühlt nicht unter 24 Grad, da diese vom Hotel so gesteuert wird. Selbst das abkühlen dieser drei Grad hat in unfassbarer Lautstärke fünf Stunden gedauert. Für manche mag das ausreichen, für uns nicht. Die Klimaanlage hält die 24 Grad nämlich nicht, sondern schaltet ab und erst bei 24,5/25 Grad wieder ein. Das Zimmer hat sich somit wieder kräftig aufgeheizt. Hier wollte ein Techniker ins Zimmer kommen, der nie kam. Der Arme hat sich in der „riesigen“ Anlage wohl verlaufen. Essen: Das Essen ist, so leid es uns tut das sagen zu müssen, unterirdisch. Beim Abendessen (nur 19-21 Uhr) sind gut 2/3 der Anrichteflächen leer. Das bisschen was da ist wird nicht aufgefüllt, es ist gerne eiskalt, der Rest ist undefinierbare Matschepampe. Die Nudeln schmecken wie das Risotto wie das Gemüse und wie der Auflauf - nämlich nach nichts. Alles zusammen ungewürzt, lieblos und völlig überkocht. Der Kids Corner war völlig leer, nichts, gar nichts. Zum Mittagessen (nur von 12:30-14 Uhr) sind die Speisen des Vorabends erneut als Auflauf oder Eintopf verarbeitet. Hier gab es wenigstens Brot, was es am Vorabend nicht der Fall war. Weiteres Frühstück und Abendessen haben wir uns dann gespart. Personal: Rezeption (vor allem weiblich) ziemlich unfreundlich und bei Nachfragen in einem genervten, überheblichen und belehrenden Ton pampig. Als ob man dämlich wäre, wird einem fünf mal das Gleiche erklärt, was weder die Frage beantwortet oder das Problem löst. Beispiel: Wir hatten weder Seife noch Duschgel im Zimmer, woraufhin uns zwei unterschiedliche Rezeptionsmitarbeiter erklärt haben, dass wir fester drücken müssen, da die Seife evtl. nur eingetrocknet ist. Die Behälter sind leer, da gab es nichts zu drücken. In zwei Tagen wurde mit unterschiedlichen Ausreden nichts aufgefüllt und Seife haben wir auch keine erhalten. Das Zimmer ist extrem hellhörig, man hört alles aus den Nebenzimmern und auf dem Gang. Die Matratze ist furchtbar, sobald sich ein Partner dreht, wird der andere komplett durchgeschaukelt. Die Dusche ist so konzipiert, dass man beim duschen das ganze Badezimmer unter Wasser setzt. Fazit: Managementversagen, was da so läuft, wird ja von irgendwem vorgegeben. 0 Sterne, 0 Service, Preis-/Leistung Katastrophe da nicht gerade günstig. Wir sind vorzeitig abgereist und kommen definitiv nie wieder.

Ein sehr bemühtes Hotel, alles sehr sauber, das Frühstück Buffet war sehr lecker und ausreichend, die Angestellten sind sehr Kompetent, freundlich , die Massage war super angenehm, dervWellnessbereich ist einfach toll.
