イムディーナの歴史的建物群の中にあるホテルです。ホテル内にもレストランがありますが、周囲にも食事をできる場所がたくさんあり、便利です。お部屋はメゾネットタイプになっており、素敵でした。

In addition to being located in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and having an incredible view of the island, I have never experienced such kindness from the staff. Always attentive, ready to advise you and full of little attentions to you, It is completely impossible to be disappointed. We really can't wait to come back. Thank you all for making this trip so magical.

The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Our room (no 9) overall was excellent, comfortable and well appointed with lots of wardrobe and drawer space. The bathroom was huge with a bath tub and a walk in shower . There was ample surface space for toiletries and a proper door. There were a couple of issues with TVs not working as they should, which was not fully resolved, but staff attempted to do so as soon as we notified them. The quality of the continental (included) breakfast however was disappointing. The fruit platter was small and got smaller each day with less and less variety. The yogurts were basic supermarket-standard and not befitting the expected quality of a prestigious hotel. We did not allow this to ruin what was a lovely stay. If you have the chance to visit this hotel I would recommend you do so.

On entering through main gates turning right and taking a short walk along narrow historic streets you will arrive at Xara Palace and from you first sighting to the moment you leave you will not be disappointed.

A charming, small hotel in a beautiful and unique, historic location in Mdina at the centre of the island. The staff were lovely and helpful. Our room had a great sized bedroom, leading to a bathroom suite. There was a staircase leading to a mezzanine level with sofa, and a balcony with a hot tub where we enjoyed spectacular views of the island. The doorway to the balcony was low but not a problem. The breakfast was plentiful with pristine linens and friendly staff. The trattoria restaurant was closed during our visit and we did not dine at the Michelin starred restaurant (except for breakfast). There are some highly ranked restaurants in nearby Rabat, just a short walk away, which we enjoyed visiting very much. Overall, this is a classy and quiet hotel and we felt pleased that we decided to stay. Valletta and other coastal spots are easily reachable by bus or taxi (Uber /Bolt operate too).

I had checked in on 22nd Jan to celebrate my 50th birthday eve. It was a milestone birthday on the 23rd and I was bedazzled to receive a beautiful birthday wish at breakfast, first thing on the 23rd morning while we sat at De Mondion. I was amazed at the care and attention besides amazing breakfast. The rooms were elegant and tastefully done up and the whole property exuded a very majestic Maltese charm. I enjoyed our walks all around MDina and the views late evening and early mornings when there were no day tourists and we could walk around and enjoy the medieval charm of MDina. We will definitely return.

Extremmely well located in Malta , close to all spots, in a quiet city of Mdina. A building full of history and comfortable. Service is top quality and the jacuzzi on the terrasse is absolutely fabulous !

Excellent hotel. Fabulous location. Outstanding service. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because there is no bar. For such a high standing hotel, with plenty of space and a magnificent outdoor terrace, the only way to get a drink is to order at the pizzeria next door and tell them you are sitting in the lobby of the hotel. Very dissapointing. On our second night we went to the Hotel/Restaurant Lumiere (they have a nice bar).
