Super 8 by Wyndham McHenry/Fox Lake Area

The room smelled of smoke, numerous flies, stain on the white blanket and mold around the tub. Unfortunately there were no other rooms available.

Room coffee pot not working, lamp missing bulb, linen was clean but very old, a/c worked well, plumbing fixtures fairly new and working good.

blood on the bed and toilet, bloody boogers all over the walls. room smelled and was wet to the touch (bed and carpet). shower curtain was broken, spider webs hanging from the door frame of the bathroom. there were little gnats flying around the room. our stay was disgusting.

Not stayin When we arrived the TV didn't work, only one washcloth, the phone didn't work. I had to go back to front desk to let them know. They fixed TV but said the phones on the 2nd floor don't work. The bathtub was so dirty we could not take a shower during our visit. I had to ask for more coffee and they said you can come down to the lobby 24/7. Why have a coffee maker in the room?? The hallways smelled of an odor and the elevator floor had the same dirt in it for the 3 days we were there. I feel they are trying to do the absolute bare minimum. I also asked for a receipt and he said it would be on my email. It is not! I would like a receipt for my visit please.

The bed linen and comforter was terrible. All 3 beds were full of yellow stains, we questioned if the sheets were changed. Staff did come and change them. There was a musty type odor in the room that was terrible. We couldnt open the window because there was no screen. The tv did not work. Had to listen to two dogs running around in the room above.

Awful No smoke detectors, dirty stained pillows and bedding, room was damp. No blankets, no TV or wifi the second day, no elevators.
