Worst Experience i ever had in my entire life. In fact he owner Carthy is bully who doesn't belong anywhere near the hospitality/ leisure industry. I recently booked and payed to spend two nights with my family over the weekend. For the three of us, myself, my wife and my son were were charged R5040 for the 2 nights. Upon arrival, i was unhappy with the facility and asked to speak to the manager to negotiate some rebate as i felt the amount is substantial and unrealistic for the venue. We were the only guest on the night. Upon her arrival without even bordering to listen to my story the bully started shouting at me. She then called the security company expel us in the middle of the night. I then requested a refund which she refused. The security guards pleaded with with her to refund us so that we can look for alternation accommodation and she refused and insisted that we should leave her premises. After a frustrating lengthy discussion the guards the tried co convince her to let us check in for the same rate we paid for and she still refused, insisting that we leave. We thenm opted to leave on condition that she will refund the money (R5 040.) Sadly she haven't refunded our money, she is repeatedly dropping my phone calls and ignoring my emails.

We stayed at this small lodge when travelling to the Kruger. It is very well run and well maintained. The staff were professional and very polite and helpful. The accommodation was excellent and offered great facilities. Bonus was the onsite restaurant that served great food. Can highly recommend.

It was booked by tour operator on our way to Kruger. Pictures were nice, but reality was even better. Spacious clean chalet, great hospitality, nice compound. We took also the dinner. The beef was great - very nice beef fillet, right cooking and delicious. It was simple, but much better than we expected. It is difficult to get so good beef in Brussels.
