Excellent adults only hotel with a top class spa area. We were a party of 8 aged from 19 to 52 years and all loved the facilities, six course evening meal and wonderful breakfast. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the main lift and we rented our ski’s from Rent for Fun directly opposite the lift. This was a great decision as no walking in ski boots and if you want to catch a bus to another area you could also do this from outside the shop. The town is lovely with a number of bars and restaurants. Most places in the mountains and in the town are cash only when it’s under a certain amount so I would take plenty of euros with you. The staff at the hotel are outstanding, everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have a fabulous holiday. My only recommendations would be to have a member of the team positioned behind the bar every night and to look at how they could extend the lounge area to make it easier for guests to socialise after dinner as the area adjacent to the bar isn’t big enough to accommodate a large no of guests, but there is two other smaller rooms you can use when this area is full. It was our first trip to Austria and it is beautiful, and exceptionally clean every where you go! We would definitely return to this hotel.

It was our first time at this hotel and in Austria. We stayed on the 22nd Feb for 1 week. We were recommended by our friends to hotel Elisabeth as they have been twice before and we could not fault it. On arrival we were told we had been upgraded. Great first impression. Spotlessly clean, great meals, excellent spa and the most comfiest bed. If I could mention anything negative it would be how hot the hotel was and the fact we had to pay for water at tea time, when you could get it free with breakfast....made no sense whatsoever. Overall a great skiing holiday, perfect location, lovely hotel, staff very nice and friendly. Would highly recommend. Thank you

We stayed at the hotel Elisabeth in Mayrhofen from the 1st to the 8th of Feb for a weeks skiing holiday. It proved to be an excellent hotel…up there with some of the best hotels experienced so far. The rooms were clean and comfortable with fresh towels every day. The staff at meal times worked tirelessly and were attentive. ‘Balazs’ our waiter was exceptional and the breakfast and evening meals were outstanding. Buses stop at regular intervals outside the hotel which takes about 5 minutes to the main Penkenbahn gondola. Bus ‘E’ takes you straight there ‘B’ goes a bit round the houses. You can also walk there in 10-15 minutes. Some small points to remember: The boot room was not sign posted from the outside of the hotel. If your standing facing the hotel it’s on the right down a slope towards an underground car park and the door to the boot room is on the left. The lockers can be confusing to unlock. Use the room card key itself to press against the button to open and close. Over all a fantastic holiday, would definitely stay here again.

What can I write that hasn't been said already? Wonderful location with ski-bus stop outside. Magnificent food, really top notch - only one desert the whole week (a touch avante garde with flavour combinations) was anything other than fantastic. Comfortable bed, knockout wine list, and the best hotel spa I have ever indulged in anywhere in the Alps.

I was several times in this hotel, mostly with my wife. We both think this is the best hotel of this kind we ever visited. Everything is perfect : Rooms, service, spa with fitness and a great pool and of couse exquisite dining. Judith and Dr. Felix Gottesfeld, Israel.

This is our 3rd stay at the Elisabeth Hotel and there is nowhere better to stay in Mayrhofen. We had authentic deluxe rooms which were clean, quiet and comfortable. Last year we were in the new rooms/extension but we loved both just as much. The family and staff working at the Elisabeth are so professional in every way and go over and above to make sure your stay is perfect. Breakfast is served from 7am and has many options for hungry skiers with lovely fresh produce. Afternoon tea is served from 3-5 and again has lots of choice. Dinner is exceptional; with several courses every night and a Gala Dinner on our last night. The wine cellar is extensive and a good range for all budgets. No one went hungry in our party! All the waiting staff are very attentive and slick with the service but a special mention has to go to Bolash who has looked after us for 3 years. The Spa is a real treat and a great new addition this year is the large outdoor jacuzzi which has some powerful jets for shoulders and backs (note it is only open from 3.30-6.30). It is nice to find an Austrian hotel with both textile and non-textile saunas and steam rooms. Everything is kept clean and well maintained. The water beds in the relaxation room are a wonderful place to unwind and relax. Massages and treatments are available to book but do this in advance to avoid disappointment as they are popular. The communal areas in the hotel are spacious and varied. The hotel is well located for skiing. Although not right by the main lift, the bus stop is just outside the hotel so you can catch the ‘E’ bus in the morning to the lift and the ‘B” bus back to the hotel. Both buses take less than 5 minutes or it’s a brisk 10 minute walk. The hotel is also very close to the main train station giving easy access to other ski resorts which are all covered on the lift pass. The hotel is in a quiet location, but just a short walk from the main street in the town. All in all a 5* rating from our group for this wonderful hotel. We will be returning! Thank you.
